Musée de la forêt et de la nature

Musée de la forêt et de la nature with Ardennes-Etape
A museum that has been totally renovated in the Bérinzenne natural estate
  • Full description

The "Musée de la Forêt et des Eaux" (Forest and Water Museum)

In the heart of the Bérinzenne Estate, the Forest and Water Museum introduces the Spa region's natural wonders via an innovative presentation.

A friendly mascot accompanies the youngest visitors on their tour, while the items in the collection are highlighted and line the building's rooms.

From underground water to the forest, via forestry, rivers and the fens, or through stories and tales, visitors go from surprise to wonder: pressing a button lights up the water's underground course , turning a cylinder and the forest's hidden life parades before your eyes, following a stream into the heart of the fen spread out before you by the magic of panoramas and photos. And then, across a gangway, the stag room opens before you... but don't let on... it will spoil the surprise!

These are just a few examples we have quoted here. Closed for almost three years, the Museum has been enlarged and totally renovated and each room hides an abundance of treasures.
