You’re sure to have a great stay in this holiday home! Set within an old wartime bunker, this holiday home has two specious bedrooms, along with a bar lounge that evokes the heritage of the Second World War, complete with objects from the period! In the above-built 120m² of contemporary extension, you will enjoy all the mod cons, with a spacious double bedroom, two bathrooms with walk-in shower, an open fire and a beautiful terrace. The large car park can accommodate a few jeeps... or even standard civilian vehicles. That’s up to you!
You find yourself here in Richelle (Visé), a friendly village of a few hundred inhabitants located 10 min from Aubel and 15 min from Maastricht. To continue on the theme of the Second World War, you can also visit the Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, only a 15-minute drive away. Another 10-minute drive from your holiday home in Thimister Clermont is the Remember Memorial. During the Battle of the Bulge, American G.I.s were stationed on this farm, which today houses an interesting collection of objects left behind by the Americans. We also highly recommend visiting the former coal mine in Blegny. Feel like unwinding? This beautiful region is perfect for going on beautiful walks and bike rides.

Pets not allowed
We hadden een fijn en origineel verblijf. De matrassen van de bedden in de bunker zijn wel aan vervanging toe. Voor de rest was het huis voorzien van alles wat nodig is om een leuk verblijf te hebben.
Prima vakantiehuis voor een stel/echtpaar. Dan maak je alleen gebruik van het 2 persoonsbed in de bovenwoning. Het gebruik van de bedden in de bunker is slecht deze zijn te smal, lengte te kort en te hoog. De matrassen zijn veel te zacht en zakken enorm in. De vloer is daar niet geëgaliseerd waardoor een gevaarlijk uitsteeksel in de vloer zichtbaar is. Vriendin is uit haar bed gevallen en kwam hierop terecht. Er is geen raambekleding aanwezig waardoor je zichtbaar bent met omkleden.
Wat een superfijn vakantiehuis! Alles erop en eraan! De bunker is prachtig gerenoveerd en een echte meerwaarde voor de kinderen. We hebben ervan genoten!
A very nice house.
Wij zijn voor een midweek in de bunker verbleven. Positief: Perfect uitgerust en heel proper. Duidelijke afspraken voordien en vlotte communicatie. Super veel informatie met wat je in de regio allemaal kan doen. Minpunten: mist misschien wat gebruiksaanwijzing voor vaatwasser, oven, tv, classificeren van vuilnis. Er is geen mogelijkheid om elektrische wagen op te laden.
