Certified in safety practices (Rescue 3 Whitewater Technician Pro), Thomas will be with you all the way and is always on hand to offer advice and instructions to make the most of your packraft outing. “But what is a packraft?” you may be asking. It’s an ultra-light (1 to 5 kg), inflatable boat, halfway between a kayak and a raft. And it’s compact enough to fit easily into your backpack. It’s super practical! As Thomas says, it’s “an ideal companion, a best friend for lovers of nature and little adventures”.

Fancy an adventure with friends, family, or colleagues? Thomas has a top-quality fleet and will provide you with all the equipment you need (packraft, paddles, life jackets, 55 L backpacks).  And for anyone feeling a little apprehensive at how light the boats are, know that packrafts are safe, stable, and comfortable. Plus, there are several different models, depending on the type of adventure: classic, closed, or double, offering all the flexibility you could want! All you need to bring are clothes suitable for the weather and for contact with water (water-repellent, waterproof, quick-dry, etc.), a change of clothes and, of course, a thirst for adventure!  Ah yes, and the icing on the cake for the perfect end to the day: once the activity is finished, Ardennes-étape customers will receive a complimentary snack made using local and organic products!
