With a passion for flowers and plants, Ann De Pooter established Safran ardennais Cosmétiques, a range of 100% natural saffron-based skincare products, full of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Follow this nature lover as she guides you through her 100% organic plant paradise, exploring the botanical garden, blueberry cultivation, permaculture vegetable garden, fruit orchards, flower garden and saffron cultivation. Along the way, you will discover the world of agro-cosmetics, learning how these organically-grown plants are used to make cosmetics.
You are sure to love the scents of the Jardin du Cerf Fleuri garden, with its seasonal array of exquisite fragrances. A real olfactory journey exploring the plants used in the wonderful world of perfumes. You will also learn about classifying natural raw materials, which fragrant part of the plant is used in perfumes and which plants provide a source of inspiration for perfumers.
Finally, there will be a quiz, as well as an olfactory blind test, where you can try your hand at winning a solid saffron perfume. And at the end of your visit, you will get to enjoy some homemade saffron lemonade.
As Ardennes-étape customers, you will receive a free mini saffron product (worth €10) with any purchase over €30 in the shop during your visit.
