Prepare for a fantastic immersive experience in the heart of the majestic Ardennes forest with Survie-en-Famille! This approximately two-hour activity is perfect for families and promises unforgettable moments as you learn to detect and recognize the footprints of wild animals.
The meeting point is set in the picturesque village of Borzée, near La Roche-en-Ardenne, where you'll embark on trails in the Ourthe Valley with your guide, exploring the local wildlife's presence. Your guide, Eric, will introduce you to the subtle art of tracking, teaching you ancestral techniques used to trace animals in our forests, some of which were directly passed down by Central African Ba’Aka hunter-gatherers. You'll learn to identify distinctive tracks left by beavers, squirrels, wild boars, foxes, and many other inhabitants of the Ardennes forest.
So, if you're looking for an original and exciting way to reconnect with nature while having family fun, head to the animal tracks in Borzée!
As Ardennes-étape customers, a track guide or a laminated key to identify forest animal traces will be provided per participant group.
