That's it, you're finally here. A magnificent expanse of water bordered by a protective forest backdrop. Does this magical setting make you feel like you're in Canada? However, it is indeed Lake Nisramont that welcomes you, near La Roche-en-Ardenne, to enjoy an activity that is both fun and instructive: fishing. Yes but… not just any old way! Here you are on a float tube, a kind of floating armchair in which you settle down to fish. Just a few flaps of the flippers and you find yourself in the middle of the lake to try your first cast! After all, it's true, why stay on the shore when you can sit in the middle of the lake?
Savour the breath-taking view
Once on the Lake, you are ready to get to the heart of the matter: fishing for predators, this carnivorous freshwater fish that includes various species of fish, such as pike, common perch or pike-perch. Rest assured, you're not alone to spot them! A Riveo fishing guide – the reference centre for the river and fishing – accompanies you, to introduce you to the various techniques. Everything, ... you will know everything there is to know about spinning and casting (we'll leave the pleasure of discovery to you)! As a true fisherman, you are obviously equipped with the well-known waders (those very characteristic high boots) and all the necessary equipment is provided to you by Riveo. Now, imagine yourself on your float tube in the middle of the lake, gazing as far as the eye can see on sublime nature, with the excitement (and pride) of having caught some fish... And it's now or never to try out the experience because as you are supervised by RIVEO, you are exempt from the Walloon Region fishing licence.
