Lake and Dam of Robertville

The Robertville Lake is only 5 kilometres away from Waimes. With its 5km length and its 63 hectares surface, it offers a wide range of fun activities.

On 10 km from Malmedy, you can enjoy fishing, sun bathing, swimming (only in defined area), boat renting, beach games... You can also go hiking by following the marked trails in the environment of the Robertville Lake. Special picnic areas are installed for this activity. 

1. Swimming area:

This is an area of the lake that is surrounded by a nice sandy beach and that is specially designed for swimming, playing with buoys...

2. Boats:

This is in the swimming area and close to the dam. Here you can rent boats, pedalos and electric motorboats. 

3. Fishing:
For fishing on the Robertville Lake one has to be in possession of a licence distributed by the Walloon Region (Ligue des Pêcheurs de l'Est). Many different types can be found in the lake: bleak, eel, bream, carp, roach, fountain salmon, trout,…
