Surrounded by meadows and close to the forest, this 4-storey house offers many possibilities for fun and walks in nature.

Located in Baclain, near Gouvy, in the province of Luxembourg, this cottage is suitable for disable guests and can accommodate up to seven people with ease. Set in a hamlet where you will enjoy the peacefulness of the countryside, this cosy holiday cottage is located just 150 metres away from the woods and 100 metres from a river, so you can enjoy strolling in nature at your leisure.

The cottage features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen and a living room with fireplace.

Outside, in the fenced garden, you can enjoy having a barbecue and relaxing on the garden furniture. In addition, there is something to keep everyone busy: swings, a sandpit, badminton court and petanque terrain.

Moreover, your children will love the small breeding facility nearby (with donkies, sheep, goats, peacocks, etc.).

Set in the heart of the Haute-Ardenne, the numerous natural and ornithological reserves of Gouvy make this a choice destination for nature lovers.

If you want to do a lot of outdoor activities, get in touch with RHM BuitenSport -La Roche-en-Ardenne and Gouvy, who offer kayaking, mountain biking, rappelling, archery, etc.

And just nine kilometres away from your holiday rental, there is also the region of Houffalize, known for its large network of marked trails and itineraries for mountain biking. In addition, this city is host to many activities: from mountain bike rental at Houffabike, to the Paintball des Cheras; plus climbing, rappelling, and kayaking at Moulin Bock.

The younger guests will love visiting Houtopia (9 km), which offers an educational concept in a space for fun discoveries. For fans of folk tales and legends, we recommend the House of the Land of Salm, which offers a special children's tour.

Al met al een prima huisje. Buiten is het veel beter vertoeven dan binnen. Leuk dat er een aantal buitenactiviteiten zijn opgeslagen in de garage. Nadeel is dat er erg veel vliegen zitten. Er zitten geen horren in de ramen.

Heel fijn verblijf, ongeveer alles is aanwezig, verhuurder was behulpzaam. Heel propere tuin, geweldige hottub (begin op tijd met vuur aanmaken want duurt een 3-4u!). Een kleine opmerking (omdat het moet): de gordijnen in de slaapkamers zijn niet verduisterend. Verder prima tijd gehad!

De woning ligt op een schitterende locatie! Het uitzicht is fantastisch en vollop ruimte voor te wandelen. Het is een relatief rustige weg, waar soms hard gereden word, maar totaal niet storend. De jacuzzi en tuin waren heel fijn! De ruimte binnen was groot genoeg voor 2 gezinnen. De afwerking kon echter wel beter. Je zag dat het oud was. Over het algemeen voor wat je er voor betaald is het nog een goeie voldoende!

Ruime vakantiewoning met uitgebreide voorzieningen en ruime fietsenberging. Jammer van de vele vliegen in de eetkamer en het salon. Mooie terrassen. Veel wandel- en fietsmogelijkheden in de omgeving, al zijn niet alle gemarkeerde wandelwegen vlot fietsbaar (wat de toeristische dienst van Gouvy wel beweert).

Nous avons été très déçu par cette location qui a besoin d'une bonne rénovation. Le plus mauvais point est le bruit des voitures sur la route. Fenêtres ouvertes ou fermées , c'est le même. Pourtant, votre indice bruit indique très faible, ce qui est faux. Présence d'un coq. Présence de souris dans le plafond. Signalé par sms au propriétaire mais mais toujours présent à la fin de séjour. Porte fenêtre et la fenêtre de la cuisine à revoir d'urgence. Vue ,situation et jardin, décoration superbe

réponse du propriétaire: Bonjour Monsieur, Cet avis nous étonne très fortement car c'est bien la première fois que nous avons un avis contraire. Notre gîte a été rénové début d'année et apporte, je pense, tout le confort nécessaire afin d'y passer un séjour convivial. Nous n'avons jamais eu aucun commentaire sur le bruit qui pourrait provenir de la route c'est d'ailleurs un endroit plutôt calme. Pour le coq c'est normal vu qu'il y a un petit élevage derrière notre gîte et c'est d'ailleurs précisé dans notre annonce... Il n'y a aucune présence de souris j'avais été voir directement dans l'après-midi comme je vous l'avais précisé. En ce qui concerne la porte-fenêtre, il suffit de bien mettre la poignée à la verticale. Je suis désolé si ce séjour ne vous a pas plu et regrette d'avoir eu un tel avis parce que je pense que je fais tout pour que ça se passe toujours au mieux et j'ai toujours eu des retours positifs. En espérant avoir répondu au mieux à vos remarques, je vous souhaite une bonne journée.

Maison rénovée avec goût, très bien équipée, lumineuse,confortable avec un grand jardin, une magnifique vue sur les Ardennes. Très bon accueil et propriétaire serviable et disponible. Nombreuses promenades à proximité. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine.
