Situated in the quiet village of Beaumont in the province of Hainaut, this spacious 3-star holiday cottage was entirely renovated by the new owners to guarantee you comfortable holidays.
The natural surroundings and the peaceful beauty of this place will be a nice framework for couple holidays (or for 3 persons if you come with a child). This spacious single storey self-catering accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms: one is equipped with a standard double bed and the other one lies in the little tower. You child will love climbing the little ladder to get up there. The bathroom is big enough for two adults and one child. And it is well equipped: a shower, a washbasin, a toilet and a hair-dryer. After a long trail in the woods or a visit to the Tour Salamandre in Beaumont, just enjoy the delicious meal you prepared with the functional kitchen (oven, micro-wave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and a small place to eat).
Do you feel like lazing on the sofa? Organise a movie party thanks to the television and DVD player.
Your vast garden will ensure you a nice view on the surroundings. If the weather allows it, do not hesitate to take the barbecue, the garden furniture and the parasol out to enjoy a delicious meal with all the family. Thanks to its fence, the garden will guarantee a safe stay to the children.
The province of Hainaut offers a wide range of activities for your stay. Not far the French border, you will quickly get through. If you prefer to stay in Belgium, the town of Mons is only 35 minutes away. In 2015, Mons was elected European capital of culture and exhibitions about Van Gogh and le Borinage are organised. A must go.
Other towns like Tour Salamandre was founded in the 11th century by Countess Richilde of Hainaut. It hosts many miniatures of Charles de Croÿ about the time of Napoleon and Victor Hugo. The last restoration work were done between 1952 and 1955. The best time of the year to visit the Tour Salamandre is between May and Octobre.
Staying in a former conciergerie is a unique experience. The region of Beaumont is the departure point for fun family excursions in the province of Hainaut.
While you visit the Clos des Zouaves in Thuin. The distillery of Biercée also produces the Eau de Villé, the P'tit Peket, the Poire Williams N°1, l'Arlequin and raspeberry and plum eau-de-vies.

Zoek je rust en stilte, dan moet je hier zijn. Huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien.
Zeer proper en goed onderhouden vakantiehuisje. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars en altijd behulpzaam, een aanrader!!!
Mijn zus en ik waren zeer tevreden over de woning. De gastheer was erg vriendelijk en het huis zelf is erg schoon, gelegen in een zeer rustige omgeving en met een grote tuin. Let wel op: de 2de slaapkamer is hoger gelegen en de trap ernaartoe zeer steil. Voor ons vormde dit echter geen probleem,

La largeur du lit n'est pas mentionnée dans le descriptif (1,40m) et la salle de bains est difficile à chauffer. Néanmoins nous avons passé un excellent séjour, merci.
Heel leuk, goed onderhouden en proper vakantiehuis. Ideaal voor 2 volwassen en een kind. Heel rustig gelegen en de nodige winkels op een 7km. Heel vriendelijke uitbaters.
Aangenaam verrast door de gastvrijheid van de eigenaars. Zeker aan te raden! Tip top in orde!

Heel vriendelijke ontvangst met alle nodige info. Rustig gelegen huis, alle voorzieningen en met super aangename tuin.
Séjour et gîte au-delà de nos espérances. Les hôtes sont absolument sympathiques et très accueillants. La maison est impeccable et rien ne nous y a manqué. Le jardin est tout juste sublime, très vaste et entretenu avec grand soin et raffinement. Calme, quiétude en plein cœur d'un coin de nature traité avec grand respect par ses propriétaires. Nous sommes impatients d'y retourner. Nous y reviendrons, c'est certain. Grand merci à C et N.

Fijne ontvangst, prachtige ligging en ideaal om tot rust te komen.

We hadden een super aangenaam verblijf in deze woning. De gastheer was ongelooflijk joviaal, de ligging was prima, de tuin was prachtig. Het huis zelf voldeed aan alle eisen. Mss een iets breder bed voorzien, want voor grote mensen (wat wij niet zijn) is het wel heel smal vonden we. We komen zeker eens terug in een ander seizoen!
De 2de slaapkamer heeft een bed waar je naartoe moet met een trap. (in de toren). En om in slaapkamer 2 te komen moet je door slaapkamer 1... Ideaal is dat niet. Maar dat is zeker niet onoverkomelijk.
Een zeer charmant verblijf in een oase van rust met zeer aangename gastheer en gastvrouw.
Bij aankomst werden we direct hartelijk verwelkomt door de eigenaar.Na een rondleiding in het charmant huisje kregen we ook info over de omgeving.Alles was zeer proper zowel binnen als buiten.De keuken is volledig ingericht ,mooie badkamer..De ligging is perfect voor rustzoekers en ideaal om de omgeving te verkennen. We deden mooie fietstochten langs de samber en de vele ravels dichtbij.Zeker een aanrader voor met z'n tweetjes.
