This 3-star holiday home can accommodate up to six guests in Bertrix, in the province of Luxemburg. During the renovation works, the owner wanted to retain the authentic charm of the place while adding very refined decorative touches that further enhance the cachet of this amazing house.
This house, built using locally sourced stone, has two bedrooms with a TV and two private bathrooms (with a washbasin and walk-in shower). A baby bed can be provided on request. The kitchen in this holiday home is fully equipped (ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and various other electrical appliances). A bar area serves to separate the kitchen from the very bright dining room. This huge open space also comprises your living room, with all the modern comforts (an open hearth, a flat-screen TV, and Belgacom TV, and an internet connection). The owners have thought of everything: to deal with the unexpected, a washing machine, an iron, and a tumble dryer are provided in the laundry room of this holiday home.
Just as much careful attention has been paid to the exterior facilities of your holiday home: a partially covered patio with rustic charm leads onto the surrounding countryside, a stream supplies the mill, a section of private garden, with the rest being shared with the owner and another property: a swimming pond and a Nordic bath to be booked in advance (heated with wood, prepared by the owner, and subject to a fee based on your consumption), and more. Garden furniture and a BBQ grill complete the available facilities. What’s more, your holiday home is just 50 m from a forest, which promises long walks among the trees.
If you would like an original way to explore the region, you can do so on the back of a donkey, well taken care of by the owners, who can arrange themed rides for you, which also include an option to sample local products (paid service).

The house adjoins another property but there is no noise or visual disturbance. When you arrive, you’ll notice a sawmill on the road opposite, but don’t worry because there is no noise and it cannot even be seen from your holiday home.
The holiday home has a private garden adjoining the patio. The swimming pond is shared with the owners and guests renting another holiday home. Between the two holiday homes, there is a shared vegetable garden from which you can help yourself.
NOTE: the stream supplying the mill has not been fenced off

Een echte aanrader .. het huisje heeft alles wat je nodig hebt om een aantal dagen zalig te vertoeven in de Ardennen. Knusse zetels, lekker warm houtvuur, .. alles wat je nodig hebt na een lange winterwandeling.
We hadden een fijn verblijf in dit vakantiehuis. Even zoeken bij het aankomen omdat het donker was, het vakantiehuis ligt iets meer naar achter. Leuke stijl met veel natuurlijke elementen.
Zeer schoon en netjes. Mooie omgeving en heerlijk rustig.
Zeer tevreden over de smaak van in richting van het vakantiehuis. Het uitzicht is magnifiek. Perfect om tot rust te komen in de prachtige natuur hier en gelegen in een hele rustige straat. De zwemvijver was een leuke extra aangezien het 35 graden was afgelopen week en het houten wandel pad is heel leuk om naar de zwemvijver te wandelen midden in de natuur. Kortom een absolute aanrader voor wie houdt van rust, veel natuur, en een mooie authentieke vakantie woning.

Alles tiptop in orde en proper. Alleen een beetje koud soms, wat we konden oplossen door de open haard.

Een prima, fijn huis op een mooie locatie. In de wintermaanden heb je echter wel het haardvuur nodig om de woning op te warmen, maar dat is ook juist gezellig. Zeer geschikt om met zijn 4en heen te gaan en lekker ouderwets bordspelletjes te spelen. Moet ook wel, want er is geen bereik in het huisje. Wifi werkt goed, maar niet overal.
Gîte chaleureux et très bien situé. Propriétaire sympathiques de même que leur âne, programmé pour braire à 9h du matin...
Aangenaam en sfeervol vakantiehuis in een rustig dorpje. We komen zeker eens terug in de zomer om ten volle van tuin en bossen te kunnen genieten.
Over het algemeen best OK voor 2 koppels die elk hun aparte badkamer hebben. De verwarming is in de wintermaanden wel problematisch omdat er maar 1 vaste elektrische radiator voor de ganse woonruimte en 1 losse elektrische olieradiator. Dat is onvoldoende, dus moet er bij verwarmd worden met de houtkachel, en het brandhout is tegen betaling. Maar voor de rest: super aangenaam verblijf gehad.
Mooi en gezellig authentiek huis met een prachtige grote tuin. Al 3x hier verbleven, dus dik tevreden. Eigenaren erg vriendelijk, alleen de vrouw spreekt wat Nederlands. Echte aanrader !

Aan dit vakantiehuisje valt niks af te breken, reeds 3x zijn wij hier geweest en we vinden ieder jaar opnieuw niks die dit huisje kan overtreffen… de ligging… de rust… en vooral de zwemvijver… wij keren zeker een 4de x terug
Fantastisch verblijf, wij komen zeker terug!
