If you are looking for a place with soul, you’ll be captivated by the charm of this lovely holiday home in which the owner has deliberately used salvaged furniture in order to extend its lifetime. That was a bold and successful choice given the harmony it creates along with the addition of modern features, as is the case for the bathroom. The different types of wallpaper on the walls help to set this house apart and give it a warm and intimate ambience.
This holiday home is located in the centre of Bertrix and is therefore near all the shops and amenities. Definitely practical for going and getting your croissants in the morning! Bertrix, in the province of Luxemburg, is a grouping of small villages typical of the Ardennes, which extend along the Semois River, with old houses that are mostly listed, with features such as schist stone, porches, etc. Your stay will be an opportunity to go on stunning walks to discover the region’s natural and historic treasures, such as the Saint-Remacle Cave, the arboretum, or the amazing slate mines, but also to have a day of adventure in the forest, for example!

Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw, dicht bij alle winkels, restaurants, natuur,...
Fijne woning schoon en zeker voor een verblijf met de hond, we vinden het wat minder geschikt voor hele jongen kinderen (kamerdeuren die niet goed sluiten, koude vloer geen trap hekjes). Uitstekende ligging vlakbij wandelroutes in de bossen van de Ardennen. Tuin wel naast de weg en tuinhek dat moeilijk te sluiten is. Erg fijn verblijf gehad hebben genoten!
Mooie grote gite waaraan enkele verbeterpunten zijn, zoals bank en bed eerste verdieping. Ligging zeer leuk dicht bij centrum.
We hebben genoten van ons verblijf in het ruim en gezellig huis. Het ligt ideaal om uitstapjes te maken. Heel dicht bij het centrum gelegen waardoor je te voet nr restaurantjes kon of nr de bakker. Parkeerplaats voor de deur en het huisje binnen heeft alles wat je maar nodig kan hebben, mr toch zijn er wel enkele aandachtpuntjes die het verblijf uitstekend zouden maken: nieuwe stoel in de keuken, nieuwe zetel, poortje steviger maken zodat de hond los in de tuin kan. Een leuk WE gehad, vanaf de ontvangst tot het einde. De eigenares is steeds bereikbaar. Twee kleine bemerkingen. De sofa begint wat door te zakken en is dus stilaan aan vervanging toe. Wij hadden een grote hond mee en voelden ons niet 100% zeker als we hem in de tuin lieten gezien het afsluiten van de omheining nogal goedkoop opgelost werd. Maar verder een perfect verblijf met alles wat je thuis ook aan comfort hebt (meer dan in de beschrijving).

Heel hartelijk onthaal bij aankomst. Goed gelegen dichtbij winkels, restaurants en start wandelingen, maar aan een drukke weg waardoor er behoorlijk wat lawaai is. In het salon is er weinig daglicht en mede door de donkere zware meubels doet het erg somber aan. Ook de keuken is erg donker. Verder is de keuken praktisch ingericht maar de ijskast heeft geen vriesvak! Dit was voor ons wel een groot ongemak. Uitstekende bedden en mooie badkamer.
Een erg fijn verblijf maar het is wel lastig als je niet goed kunt communiceren. Al is dit uiteindelijk helemaal goed gekomen

Perfecte locatie
Zeeraangename eigenaars zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam niet tegen staande deze mznsen zelf met zeer veel werk zitten onderhanden 200 dieren een echte aanrader deze mensen zijn voor ons dikke vrienden geworden , wij danken tevens het ganse ardenne etape team. groetjes Leon en Wiske
Accueil sympathique et chaleureux. La maison est très propre et la literie est impeccable. La décoration est authentique et de très bon goût. Le jardin est parfait pour notre chien. On se sent bien dans ce gîte. Merci à Myriam et Marc pour ce séjour.
Excellent accueil avec toute l'histoire de la maison. Décoration de bon goût. Il ne manque rien dans le logement. Jardin clôturé pour le chien. Proche des commerces et restaurants pour pouvoir y aller à pied. La propriétaire est disponible et très sympathique.
très bon accueil, le gîte nous convenait parfaitement cela mérite que l'on fasse leur publicité.

er is nog wat werk aan
We werden heel goed ontvangen door de eigenaares met een rondleiding door het huis. Heel aangename badkamer. Veel elektronica voorzien in de keuken. Alle comfort was aanwezig. Enige minpuntje is dat de tuin niet afgesloten is voor de hond.
De tuin was niet volledig omheind. Onze hond kon niet vrij rondlopen. Voor de rest was alles ok
