There you can visit the Arskrippana Christmas Nativity Museum, a great destination to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the end of year celebrations. A little further afield, Amblève, a small village in the Eastern Townships that is perfect for hiking and mountain biking, awaits you with its impressive fir forest. Your destination of choice, however, will probably be Butgenbach, where a large number of sporting activities and tourist attractions await you. The Sports Center Worriken is the perfect place to enjoy the natural resources of the region in a fun way, as you can explore Lake Butgenbachand its ski slope! We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Oswald in zijn schoon en sfeervol vakantiehuis. Oswald had voor ons al documentatie van de omgeving klaar gelegd waarover hij uitleg gaf wat we de komende weken konden doen. Toen we pech met de auto hadden heeft Oswald ons uitstekend geholpen. We hebben er een hele fijne vakantie gehad . Echt een aanrader. Zeer geschikt voor wandelaars.

Zeer aangenaam verblijf in een prachtige regio waar zeer veel mogelijkheden zijn om de dagen te vullen. Eigenaar woont naast de woning, zeer vriendelijke persoon die veel tips kan geven voor leuke uitstapjes/bezigheden in de regio. Woning zeer netjes en zeer goed onderhouden, enkel de matrassen zijn mogelijk aan vervanging toe. Wij hadden hier een leuke vakantie en hopen snel nog eens terug te keren!

Het huis heeft een prachtig uitzicht op de heuvels rondom Manderfeld. Het bronnengebied van de waterscheiding Maas/Rijn. Zeer heuvelachtig. Prachtige fietsroutes. In de kleine dorpen zijn weinig of geen winkels.

Goed gelegen vakantiehuisje, niet ver van enkele mooie Duitse stadjes (Blankenheim, Kronenburg...) of de Hoge Venen. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor mooie wandelingen in de Belgische en Duitse Eifel. Alles is aanwezig. In de keuken zouden een tweetal extra besteksetjes welkom zijn voor iets minder vaatbeurten. Zeer vriendelijke, behulpzame eigenaar.
