Located in Chimay, this 2.5 star holiday house for 7 persons will be perfect for peaceful holidays in the Ardennes. The building was entirely restored and carefully laid out to host up to 7 persons in the best conditions.

This beautiful small farmhouse built in local stone is the perfect holiday rental for a quiet stay in the heart of the province of Namur. You will immediately be charmed by the neat interior and the authentic character of this 2.5 star holiday home. It will be perfect for exciting holidays among family or friends in the Ardennes. You will benefit from 3 cosy bedrooms and a well-equipped bathroom (shower, bathtub, washing machine and two sinks) for optimal privacy. On the ground floor, you will find a beautiful and very cosy living area composed of a sitting corner with multimedia equipment and wood stove, a pretty dining room and a fully equipped kitchen with everything necessary to prepare delicious meals. A cave and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer are also at your disposal. As far as the exterior is concerned, you will be happy to find a 1000m² enclosed garden with terrace and play area. While the adults will be preparing a delicious barbecue on the terrace, the younger ones will be able to play around in the garden. A public parking-lot with 4 parking spaces lies next to the house and you will also benefit from a garage (for one car) with table tennis table.

As far as the outdoor is concerned, you will be happy to find a 1000m² enclosed garden with terrace and play area (petanque field). While the adults will be preparing a delicious barbecue on the terrace, the younger ones will be able to play around in the garden. A public parking-lot with 4 parking spaces lies next to the house and you will also benefit from a garage (for one car) with table tennis table.

Although this holiday rental is quite remote, several activities are to be discovered in the surroundings. They will allow you to enjoy the rural character of this beautiful region. If you enjoy going for a walk, you will be delighted by the many hiking trails available right from your doorstep. The woods and a river are also close to your holiday home and you will then be able to immediately soak up the Ardennes nature. If you are looking for a lively place, head for Cerfontaine and Couvin. Couvin will be a great stopover during your walks. Discover a village full of history and do not miss its caves, its abbeys and, of course, its breweries... For example, you may visit the Grottes de Neptune (‘Neptune Caves’) and have a drink at the ‘Brasserie des Fagnes’!  You may also go to Froidchapelle and discover the Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure (“Eau d’Heure lakes”)! Don't hesitate to visit ‘Natura Parc des Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure’ in order to enjoy superb treetop and zipline routes! fantastisch rustige omgeving. Zo kom je er weinig tegen. Voor een groepje vrienden die uit zijn op wat wandellen, uitrusten en genieten van de omgeving raad ik dit zeker aan. Het huis zelf kan wel wat kluswerk gebruiken maar overbodige luxe is hier niet nodig. De douche mag wel meer druk en grotere douchekop gebruiken. De tweede maal dat ik er kom. Prachtig huis, prachtige lokatie.

Het huisje ligt op een prachtige plek. Volop rust en ruimte. Complimenten voor het vele speelgoed wat al aanwezig was in de woning. De kinderen hebben 2 weken lang niet naar hun eigen speelgoed omgekeken/gevraagd. Er zijn ook veel bezienswaardigheden in de regio. Het huisje is wat ouder, maar de eigenaren houden het netjes bij. De fotos zijn wel erg gedateerd. Ik zou de eigenaar aanraden de fotos te vernieuwen

Het was een geweldige lokatie. Erg afgelegen, maar dat was waar we naar zochten. Prachtig uitzicht en je hoort alleen de vogeltjes fluiten. Een paradijsje ! Klopt het wel dat het huisje nummer 2 is . Op de deur stond een vier te lezen, dachten wij en ook de TomTom gaf bij nummer 2 een ander huis aan. Maar we hebben het gevonden hoor?

La maison est vraiment super, son côté isolé lui confère un charme exceptionnel. Le seul inconvénient se situe dans l'accessibilité (qui malheureusement est indépendant de la volonté des propriétaires, ils essaient de faire au mieux). Les hôtes ont mis à disposition tous les matériels nécessaires, il ne manque de rien. Petits points à peut-être améliorer : plus de porte essuis dans la salle de bain, avec des crochets pour les gants de toilettes. Des tentures occultantes dans les chambres.
