This beautifully renovated rectory with 6 bedrooms, sauna, billiards and table football is located in the tiny village of L'Escaillère. Pure charm!
You will immediately love the wonderful light that this holiday home is blessed with. Quite special for a home from 1930! Light colours, rugged wooden accents... ideal for relaxing. You can also chill out in the indoor sauna after a long walk or challenging bike ride. The spacious kitchen invites you to feast on local delicacies. And why not snuggle up afterwards in the cosy sitting room with its striking fireplace or on the covered terrace. Need a bit more action? Make great memories playing pool or table football! This holiday home lies about 10 km from Chimay in a stunning region. Our personal favourite in the region?  A brisk walk in the Fondry des Chiens nature reserve . A spectacular place that will remind you of Provence and Mediterranean landscapes - great for an instant holiday feeling! For a nice walk with the kids - including a picnic - we recommend you go walking in Couvin . A favourite for Ardennes-Etape parents! In this holiday home full of character, the whole family can enjoy themselves in every season!

In deze karaktervolle woning vind je zeker alle basisbehoeften terug. Zeer rustig gelegen en toch dicht bij verbindingswegen. Geen lokale handelaars. We gaan zeker nog terug. Wij verbleven met 6 koppels voor een fietsweekend.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte! Endroit très calme, gîte spacieux, très bien entretenu. Le jardin, le sauna et la terrasse sont un plus! Excellent rapport qualité prix! Seul bémol mais vraiment pour en trouver un : tout est renseigné en néerlandais dans le gîte. Une traduction serait la bienvenue.

Entre Sambre-et-Meuse, belgian-style canyons and large lakes

Spread out between the Provinces of Namur and Hainaut, the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse area reveals original natural sites. The Eau d'Heure Lakes (the largest in the kingdom) offer a host of activities and are ideal for sailing. The Fondry des Chiens is much more arid as it is a real canyon, great for discovering unique vegetation.
