This holiday home for eight people counts three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Its wood-panelled walls and stove in the dining room lend it a cosy atmosphere that will make you feel right at home during your stay in the Ardennes. In the kitchen, there is a little breakfast corner - perfect for your morning coffee. For longer stays, a washing machine and tumble dryer are available. The attractive bedrooms also feature wooden furnishings. One of them has space for up to four people, thanks to the mezzanine, (which children love!). Outside, make the most of summer in the large garden with its beautiful flower-beds, sheltered from outside views. Enjoy an aperitif and summer meal on the terrace. Why not grill some tasty local produce (meat, vegetable, trout) on the barbecue?
In the Semois valley, Chiny is a paradise for river fishing. It’s also a perfect region for long walks in the forest. The municipality has marked hundreds of kilometres of trails in the great forest of Chiny. At the end of the summer, head to Chassepierre for the festival or outdoor arts. And trekkers will fall in love with the Trail Ardenne-Herbeumont station, which offers courses for all levels. Whether you are bringing your walking boots, trail-running shoes or your bicycle, you’ll love this region!

Woning was perfect voor 8 personen zowel binnen als buiten. Aangenaam dorpje met een groot deel aan faciliteiten qua voeding en resto. Mooie wandelingen in onmiddellijke omgeving.
Très belle maison, bien située pour les promenades
Gite à la fois moderne et gardant son caractère. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans une belle région. Nos hôtes ont été aux petit oignons et nous ont même renvoyé par la poste des objets égarés. Nous recommendons chaudement ce logement!

Het was reeds de 2 keer dat we dit verblijf geboekt hebben, dus dat zegt genoeg. En wij komen nog terug.
Maison parfaite, bien située et propriétaires très disponibles.
Subliem verblijf gehad, zelfs gezelschapsspelletjes waren aanwezig. Overdekt terras en BBQ zijn de max., volledig uitgeruste keuken. Epic(h)érie super op wandelafstand. Indien toch 1 puntje om aan te bevelen, gelieve dan nog vliegenramen te voorzien zodat die vervelende vliegen en muggen buiten blijven...

Très beau gite vaste, confortable et bien aménagé. Joli jardin bien entretenu et terrasse agréable . Environnement calme. propriétaires accueillants et disponibles. très bon réseau wifi.
Maison agréable et très bien située. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire. Seuls bémols les coussins pour dormir et le fait de devoir nous-mêmes aller au parc pour recycler les déchets.

Zeer compleet huis met geweldige rustige tuin. Er is veel te doeningen directe omgeving. Goede ontvangst door vriendelijke eigenaar.
Excellent séjour dans cette maison rénovée par des propriétaires très à l’écoute. Très calme malgré la mitoyenneté. Très bonne literie et maison très bien équipée. Une belle adresse à conseiller!
Ce petit nid est décoré avec goût. Le petit salon est très cocoon. Le bâtiment reste frais malgré la chaleur extérieure. Bien équipée.
Dit vakantiehuis werd nog maar net in gebruik genomen. Alles is aanwezig, de ligging is ideaal en de omgeving zeer mooi! We hebben met ons gezin een geweldige week gehad!
Mes amis et moi avons passé un excellent week-end dans cette charmante maison. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter si nous revenions dans la région par la suite.

Wij waren blijkbaar de allereerste huurders van deze pas als vakantiehuis ingerichte woning. Alles was tip top in orde. Met 8 volwassenen geen gebrek aan ruimte in de slaap- en badkamers. Gezellig en warm ingericht met veel houten bekleding voor een echt "Ardennen" gevoel. Heel verzorgde tuin met afdakje om onder te zitten als het toch eens regent. Goede ligging niet ver van Semois en de bossen voor lange of minder lange wandelingen. Zeer sympathieke eigenaars, zeer behulpzaam. Aanrader.

Chiny is a small town in the province of Luxembourg, at the edge of the Belgian Ardennes next to the river Semois. It is one of the last Belgian places before crossing the French border. There is a castle and facilities have been installed around the Pont de Fer for a lovely summer barbecue....
