Eerste keer dat ik een B&B heb geboekt nadat onze motorhome het vorige zomer had begeven en ik nog geen andere had gevonden naar mijn zin. Omdat ik het "motorhomen" altijd al de ultieme reisvorm had gevonden met grote vraagtekens deze vakantievorm ontdekt. Is ons toch goed bevallen omdat wij ons ook tot één regio hadden beperkt om toch niet te veel weg en weer te moeten rijden. Met een motorhome heb je dit probleem niet voor. We gaan deze reisvorm nu in het gezin evalueren. :-)

Très bon Accueil, les propriétaires sont charmants. Petit soucis d’eau dans la cuisine, pas d’eau froide quand on tourne le mitigeur mais largement compensé par l’emplacement et le reste.

Zeer rustig gelegen ruime woning. Op de boerderij tussen de koeien met een stromende beek in de tuin. Ruime tuin! In het dorp zelf is niets aanwezig maar rust vind je er zeker.

Nous avons directement apprécié l'environnement à la ferme pour son côté bucolique, la rivière au fond du jardin, les animaux, le calme et la tranquillité, les promenades dans les champs et les bois proches. Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'accueil de la famille Marchal, leur disponibilité, leur attention, leur bienveillance, leur discrétion le cas échéant. Ce sont réellement de belles personnes que nous sommes heureux d'avoir rencontré.

Heel warm onthaal door de eigenaars van dit huis, aanpalend aan een boerderij, waar onze dochter mocht meewerken. Huis met alle comfort, grote, open tuin met rivier (Eau blanche) achteraan. Keukengerief in uitstekende staat. Mooie streek, kortom een aanrader !

Wij verbleven met onze 3 jonge kinderen (5, 3, 0) in dit vakantiehuis. We werden hartelijk onthaald door de eigenaar. Goed uitgeruste keuken, comfortabele bedden, ledikantje op de ouderslaapkamer, bad én douche, fijne tuin. Onze kindjes vonden het ook leuk even een kijkje te nemen op de boerderij.

Entre Sambre-et-Meuse, belgian-style canyons and large lakes

The Eau d'Heure Lakes (the largest in the kingdom) offer a host of activities and are ideal for sailing. The Fondry des Chiens is much more arid as it is a real canyon, great for discovering unique vegetation.
