Located in Couvin in the province of Namur, this authentic Ardennes holiday home, nestled deep in nature, has one bedroom (plus one double bed in the living space) and one comfortable bathroom. After a day of walking, relax in the large, cosy living space, consisting of a comfortable living room with a cassette-style wood-burning stove and a TV, a bright, welcoming dining room, and an open-plan kitchen with a wonderful countertop and all the appliances you need, including a dishwasher. Enjoy sunbathing or an aperitif (or two!) in the pretty, private garden while the BBQ grill heats up. The house has a wireless internet connection and private parking for four cars.

You have a private park of 10ha with ponds for walking or fishing.
Possibility of fishing (without permit) in the private pond. Different ponds and different fishing grounds: white pond or trout pond
There is an unfenced pond in the garden. Children must therefore be supervised by an adult at all times.
Super gezellig en aangenaam verblijf in complete stilte in het midden van de natuur. Zalig!!!
Een prachtige woning op een landgoed. Zeer geschikt voor een stel, 4 volwassenen of een gezin van 4. Je loopt direct het bos in waar je reeën en zwijntjes tegenkomt. Het is een mooie locatie als je van wandelen en trailrunning houdt. Een uitstapje naar Reims is ook zo gemaakt. Om in de badkamer te komen moet je door de slaapkamer heen. Dat was voor ons geen probleem. Het is een badkamer ensuite. Het matras van het tweepersoonsbed was nog net prima maar mag vervangen worden.
Ruime en zeer gezellige vakantiewoning, midden in de bossen, maar toch vlot bereikbaar. Diverse wandelingen en mtb-routes passeren aan de achterdeur. Een aanrader.
Geweldige gastheer, geweldige omgeving, geweldig huis, 1 klein minpuntje maar echt minimaal en dat was het matras. Dat was voor mij te zacht. Voor de rest echt een aanrader!
The house is in a fantastic location from which you can do hiking and cycling routes directly, as well as easily access groceries and other necessities in Couvin by car or bike (mind the sometimes very steep hills). We spent four nights in the 6-person house while other guests stayed in the 2-person house. Each house has its own part of the garden and is very private. The hosts were very welcoming and understanding of a delay due to train problems. Being right next to the forest was amazing.
Heerlijk rustig gelegen op een mooi stuk grond met vijvers. Goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de buurt en je kunt al vanuit huis wandelen als je wilt.
Een prachtige locatie, met een warm onthaal. Een plek om volledig tot rust te komen en vooral de tijd te vergeten.
Precies een bestemming die we zochten. Een fijn, comfortabel huis op een idyllische plek. Zeer privé in een prachtige natuur. Goede uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes. Wandelen in de omgeving doe je zodra je de deur uitstapt. En ... de eigenaren verdienen zonder meer de qualificatie superhost.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement idéalement situé à Couvin. Tout était à proximité : commerces, activités et nature. Le cadre est magnifique, calme et reposant. Les hôtes ont été très accueillants, disponibles et vraiment sympathiques. Nous recommandons vivement ce lieu pour un séjour réussi dans les Ardennes Belges!

Nous sommes restés une semaine dans ce magnifique endroit pour profiter de la région et des balades. La localisation est top, vallée calme en pleine nature. Le gîte est fantastique, atypique mais bien pourvu matériellement. Equipement, cuisine et salle de bains agréables. L'accueil est chaleureux. Nous reviendrons!

Wat een pareltje! De loft is prachtig ingericht, zeer ruim en voorzien van een ruime keuken en comfortabele bedden . De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk, we voelden ons onmiddelijk welkom. Het domein zelf is prachtig en perfect onderhouden. Een absolute aanrader!!!

Style architectural local totalement préservé et de très bon goût, entièrement réalisé et entretenu avec passion par les propriétaires extrêmement sympathiques. Un havre de paix et une beauté de nature aussi diversifiée que préservée et ce, à une heure de voiture de chez nous...sans oublier des établissements de produits du terroir et de restauration remarquables..!!franchement à découvrir

Mooi en heerlijk ruim vakantiehuis. Warm welkom en goede plek om te wandelen. Iets minder restaurants in de buurt, maar voldoende. Grote supermarkten dichtbij.
Rustig gelegen in een prachtige omgeving, heel aangename eigenaars. Ideaal om eens van alles weg te zijn...
Super week gehad! Het huisje bevat alles wat je nodig hebt en buiten is het prachtig!

We had a wonderful time. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. Everything was neat, tidy and clean. Our son enjoyed the ponds on the property. It is a tranquil and remote location nestled in the beautiful Ardenne. The kitchen is equipped with everything one needs. Nespresso pods and machine are available. We had hot water and heating as it was a bit chilly in the morning and evening. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Hebben een zeer aangenaam verblijf gehad in deze charmante woning, qua locatie ook super als uitvalsbasis, hebben oa tripjes gemaakt naar Chimay, Maredsous, Dinant, ..
Zeer mooie vakantiewoning. Staat genoteerd voor vier personen, maar is goed voor twee. Keuken zou iets meer kookgerei mogen hebben. CV stond geblokkeerd op 18° , was voor de tijd van het jaar veel te fris. Zeer goede houtkachel maar dan moet je wel thuis blijven natuurlijk.
Wir hatten ein paar schöne und entspannte Tage im Loft der alten Mühle.
