This typical, old half-timbered house provides all the modern comforts but retains its old-world charm. This contemporary, harmoniously decorated holiday home, with its fully enclosed garden, will capture the hearts of those looking for authenticity! It comprises four bedrooms and two bathrooms, a lounge space, a hot tub, and storage for your bikes. You’ll enjoy sitting by the wood-burning stove in the comfortable living room. Outside, you’ll make the most of the garden with its play equipment and patio.
Your holiday home is located in the lovely valley of the small Aisne River, which is just 200 m away. And the forest is just 500 m from the house. It is an ideal place for walking and cycling. Durbuy is 10 km away. In the smallest city in the world, you can visit, among other things, the Topiary Park, with a surface area of 10,000 m², with its impressive 250 plant sculptures. As its name suggests, Adventure Valley Durbuy offers a wide range of adventurous activities for children and adults.
Be sure to take a look around the local market in Bomal on Sunday mornings. Wéris, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, is also nearby; you can admire ancient menhirs there.

Aangenaam verblijf gehad. Klein en gezellig huisje. Keuken goed uitgerust. Slaapkamers eerder basic.
We hebben genoten van een zeer fijn weekend in dit vakantieverblijf. Zeer gezellig ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort. Ook een heel mooie keuken voorzien van alle functionaliteiten en een tuin waarin de kinderen en de hond in hebben kunnen ravotten. Zeker een aanrader om met een gezin naartoe te gaan. Wel veel trappen in huis, dus niet altijd evident voor kleine kindjes. 1 minpuntje is dat het overal houten vloeren zijn, dus dat je alles hoort. Maar dat hoort bij de charme van het verblijf.
Wij hebben als familie (8 volwassen en 2 kleine kinderen) genoten van het mooie huis. Het huis was helemaal in de landelijke stijl tot in de details, smaakvol ingericht, en van alle gemakken voorzien( zeker de keuken) . Ook het serviesgoed en glaswerk was ruim aanwezig. Alles met smaak bij elkaar gezocht. Enige nadeel was dat het wel erg gehorig was door de planken bovenverdiepingen. De hottub heeft iedere avond voor gezelligheid en warmte gezorgd ondanks de aanhoudende herfstregen.
Prima vakantiehuis maat klein voor het aantal toegelaten personen.
Niet echt een kindvriendelijke woning: veiligheid aan/op trappen onvoldoende.
Mooie, gezellige en nette accommodatie. Enerzijds leuk vertoeven ter plaatse en anderzijds de perfecte uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen.
Weekendje weg met vriendinnen was helemaal geslaagd. Huis is zeer net en goed onderhouden, veel zon in de tuin en de hottub maakte het helemaal af. Wel dunne vloeren en muren die het geluid amper tegenhouden, maar voor zo'n kort weekend met vrienden helemaal geen probleem!
Leuk huisje in een hele mooie streek in de Ardennen. Het huis is wel gehorig maar wij hadden geluk met het weer en hebben de hele tijd buiten gezeten. Het huis heeft een geweldige tuin om met kleine kinderen in te vertoeven.

Dit oude huis heeft enorm veel sfeer en karakter, dat was ook de reden dat we voor dit huis gekozen hebben. Van binnen is het huis erg netjes gerenoveerd, de keuken is erg modern, de eetkamer groot genoeg en de woonkamer nog ouderwets knus en gezellig. De (bad)kamers boven zijn fijn en erg netjes. De kamer boven de woonkamer heeft wel een dunne vloer (planken) dus gehorig. De hot tub was heerlijk en in de grote tuin konden de kinderen spelen. De eigenaar was prettig in contact. Geen kinderstoel!
