Contemporary holiday home for eight guests near Durbuy, in the province of Luxemburg. This 3-star holiday home has been tastefully decorated with a modern touch to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The living room has a spacious seating area with a wood-burning stove and sofas, a large dining table with more than enough room for eight guests, and a modern, open-plan kitchen with all the modern conveniences.
The same design style has been carried through to the upper floor, where you’ll find four bedrooms and two tidy bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a lovely bathtub, so you can relax here after a long, active day outdoors. The separate wellness area with an infrared sauna and shower certainly contribute to this as well. A small garden?–?with a patio, BBQ grill, and garden furniture?–?surrounds the holiday home. There is also a pétanque court and ample private parking with three parking spaces.
This holiday home is located in tranquil surroundings. The nearest shops, restaurants, and market can be found about 1 km away in the village of Barvaux, an important commercial centre. The well-known town of Durbuy is about a five-minute drive away and its medieval streets, cosy shops, and many sidewalk cafés offer everything you need for a relaxing day out. There are also many tourist, athletic, and cultural activities to do in the vicinity of Durbuy. For example, you can wander around the Durbuy Labyrinth. You must find your way to the exit using stories of compelling fairy-tale characters. That’s not easy with all those overgrown walls, high hedges, and narrow passageways. A real challenge for young and old!

Het huisje is zeer verouderd en ja moet werkelijk alles zelf mee nemen (zelf zout, peper, suiker voor bij de koffie, lakens, badhanddoek, …)
De eigenaar schrijft ons : "Het huis is volledig conform de foto's op de site en in de beschrijving is duidelijk vermeld dat lakens en badhanddoeken zelf dienen mee genomen te worden."

Een goed gelegen en rustige modern vakantiehuis maar enorm vuil, waardoor het de prijs niet waard is.
De eigenaar schrijft ons : 'Na contact met de beheerster, die met de huurder heeft gebeld, bleek het over vuile ramen en over tuinstoelen die niet waren gekuist. Ik vind dat deze commentaar niet in verhouding. De woning wordt voor elke verhuring grondig gekuist, maar het is niet mogelijk om telkens de ramen en tuinmeubelen te onderhouden. Het laatst waren de vensters op het gelijkvloers begin mei gepoetst. '

Het huis is prima, ruim. Het huis kan wel een schilderbeurt gebruiken. Er is voldoende inventaris in de keuken.

Over het algemeen tevreden over het huis. Super ontvangst! Wel paar aandachtspunten - te weinig couverts, glazen en borden. Elke keer moet er afgewassen worden. Zou ook goed zijn wat gelijke sets te zetten - geen opbergruimte in de keuken - bij aankomst is er echt niets. Vaak zijn er wat basiskruiden, spons, wc papier al aanwezig in huurhuis - zeer verouderde badkamer: scheuren, douchekop lekt langs alle kanten - huis mist aan gezelligheid. Is koud ingericht, enkel de basis.

Chouette maison avec 4 chambres et grand living. Deux salle de bains pratiques. A seulement quelques kilomètres de Durbuy. Points négatifs; pas de chaines TV francophones et vaisselle pas propre
Le propriétaire nous envoie l'information suivante : "Entre-temps, TV Vlaanderen a été remplacée par Proximus Pickx où tant les chaînes francophones que les chaînes néerlandophones et germanophones sont disponibles."

Prettig huis, van alle gemakken voorzien. Mooie ligging tov dorp en Durbuy.
Heel mooie woning met prima infrastructuur. Aangenaam verblijf. Wel een klein minpuntje richting wandelingen: het nabij gelegen golfterrein waar men niet door mag. Het richting kiezen voor een wandeling is daardoor relatief beperkt.

Ruime woning en het noodzakelijke was aanwezig. Het gebrek van haardroger en broodmes of vleesmes hebben wel gemist, Fijn weekend gehad en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Vriendelijk onthaal.
