This holiday house has the cachet of old village houses, with the punch of a great renovation. In the living area, you’ll love the dynamic colours on the walls, the space to move around in and the warmth of the fire. In the sleeping area, the authenticity of the location combined with a modern décor creates asuper comforting atmosphere, which is perfect for a good night’s sleep!
The outdoor space is also very enjoyable. In addition to the garden and terrace, an annex has become a haven for fun-loving kids with an indoor sand pit, a room with a blackboard and another one for the foosball table. Both little ones and teenagers will be delighted!
You’ll stay in the peace and quiet of the Ben-Ahin (Huy) hamlet, without direct neighbours. The region is full of castles to visit and architectural heritage. You’re also close to the Meuse river so enjoy plenty of walks along the water or river cruises!
This family holiday house promises wonderful times as a family in direct contact with nature, in any season.
The design of the bedrooms, with two parental bedrooms and two bedrooms for the children, allows two families to stay comfortably, or a family with grandparents for example.
This house is primarily intended for family groups. Non-family groups may nevertheless be allowed, subject to the acceptation of the owner and with a possible additional guarantee.
It is not allowed to organise student parties, bachelor parties, drinking parties,…

Gîte charmant très confortable ! Tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin est à disposition. Petit bémol sur le chauffage dans la salle de bain, un peu faible pour des températures hivernales à l'extérieur ?.
Wij hebben een uitstekend verblijf gehad tijdens oud en nieuw. Het huis was prima geschikt voor ons gezelschap. We werden goed ontvangen door de aardige eigenaresse. Ondanks de taalbarrière was alles duidelijk. Tijdens het verblijf een klein technisch mankement gehad, wat dezelfde dag nog door de eigenaar werd opgelost.
We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad in dit gezellige en mooie huisje. Het huis is (volgens mij) recent opgeknapt. Hierdoor is het in goede staat. Maar er zijn ook enkele sfeervolle oude elementen behouden gebleven. Fijne bedden. Rijk uitgeruste keuken.
Nette woning met voldoende ruimte voor 9 personen. De eigenaar was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en er is alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt.
Zeer goed, we komen nog terug
We (gezin met 3 jonge kinderen plus opa en oma) hebben genoten van een fijne familievakantie in Huy. We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen door Nadine en het huis was mooi, ruim, compleet en netjes. Het uitzicht aan de achterzijde is fantastisch en er zijn veel leuke spelletjes voor binnen en buiten aanwezig. Ook hebben we genoten van mooie wandelingen, Huy (kabelbaan, fort en kathedraal) en het Prehisto museum. Kortom, een heerlijke plek om samen vakantie te vieren in de mooie Ardennen!
Heerlijk vakantiehuis, we hebben er met 6 volwassenen en 3 kleine kinderen het weekend doorgebracht. Gezellige sfeer, mooie ligging, goede (en complete) ruimtes en fijne tuin. De weg vonden we wel wat druk aan de voorzijde (waar 2 van de 4 slaapkamers aan grenzen), de achterzijde van het huis is heerlijk rustig. Prettig contact met de verhuurders. Mooie omgeving. Volop genoten dus.

Maison agréable, bien équipée et bien entretenue. Grands espaces et hôte très réactive.
Fijn groot huis. Bedden goed, keuken compleet. Veel privacy. Douche mooi, ruim. Maar door min. waterstraal duurde het heel lang voordat bad vol was dus niet gebruikt.
Het huis was prima, ruim en kindvriendelijk, het afstoffen kon wel beter veel oude spinnenwebben. Desalniettemin een heerlijke vakantie gehad in een rustig gelegen omgeving. Zeer vriendelijke mensen.
Great hiking trails from here. Saw the rivers, caves, great place for running. The home has a lot of character and enough convenience for the whole family. During the weekend there was zero construction disturbance. The children were so happy to see the cows so nearby. Kitchen had everything we needed to have a great vacation. Definitely recommend this holiday home !
J'ai passé mes vacances avec mes petits enfants ados. Les garçons avaient leur vélo et ils ont pu faire beaucoup de randonnées. Les filles ont trouvé leur bonheur. Un peu déçue car le baby-foot était cassé. Pour le reste tout était parfait.
We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad in dit ruime huis. Leuke wandelroute langs het huis en dicht bij Huy gelegen. Aan de straatkant hoor je af en toe een auto passeren, maar dat gebeurt niet vaak 's nachts. Het enige dat echt lastig was, was de waterdruk in de woning. Op 2 plaatsen tegelijk water gebruiken is niet aan te raden en het duurt lang voor er warm water uit de kraan komt.
Fijn huis. Van alles voorzien en schoon. Jammer dat er werkzaamheden waren naast het huis. Douche geeft slappe straal.
Groot was onze verbazing dat er naast het huis een bouwwerf was opgestart en dat er volop werd gewerkt. Niet alleen op vrijdag maar ook op zaterdag : inclusief compressor , slijpen van metalen/stenen ed , kortom lawaai ! ... iets wat we absoluut niet wilde hebben tijdens dit verblijf. Onbegrijpelijk dat jullie hier als organisatie niet op reageren en en/of een oplossing uitwerken. Een ander huis , pal naast deze 5-sterren woning , zal ongetwijfeld het aantal sterren doen dalen tot 3.
Aangenaam huisje in een mooie omgeving. Top prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Zeer vriendelijke en flexibele eigenares.
Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het water is alleen niet meteen warm, koffiezetapparaat deed het niet goed en we miste een gebruiksaanwijzing voor de oven. Verder is het van alle gemakken voorzien. Voldoende eetgerei en ruimte in het huis.
