The village of Jalhay, where this holiday cottage is located, belongs to the province of Liège. Carnivals are a tradition in this area and Jalhay is no exception. The province is also part of the High Fens region, with its varied landscapes and picturesque villages. Sart-Lez-Spa is one of them with its sandstone houses and its Feast of Old Trades, which celebrate its rich and still present history. Looking for an incredible landscape in Belgium? Then you need to check out the fens plateau, in the Province of Liege. Made up of moors and peat bogs, it flirts with extremes and takes on the air of a Siberian steppe or African savannah, depending on the season. And if some places are very popular, the 67,000 hectares covered by the High Fens-Eiffel Nature Park offer a multitude of seldom visited places to explore.
