This renovated former farm dependency was designed to accommodate families in an inviting atmosphere that offers all the necessary comfort for a stay combining nature and culture.
This country-style holiday home features a cosy living area with most rooms on the ground floor opening on to one another. Thus, the living room opens on to the dining room, which itself opens on to a well-equipped kitchen that is separated by a bar. This gives a feeling of spaciousness with a very pleasant atmosphere. Upstairs, the bedrooms and bathrooms are distributed around a bright corridor, allowing everyone to enjoy their space. Outside, a 400m² garden and a playground consisting of a cabin, a slide and a swing for your children’s enjoyment; while the terrace, with all the necessary garden furniture and a barbecue, is perfect for adults to relax in.
The village of Jalhay, where this holiday cottage is located, belongs to the province of Liège. Carnivals are a tradition in this area and Jalhay is no exception. The province is also part of the High Fens region, with its varied landscapes and picturesque villages. Sart-Lez-Spa is one of them with its sandstone houses and its Feast of Old Trades, which celebrate its rich and still present history. Another city to visit is Verviers, which used to be an important place for the wool industry before becoming the Walloon capital of water. Nestled along the Vesdre, it has many fountains and a very nice downtown core to hang out and go shopping.
With its modern and authentic atmosphere, you will find in this holiday home an ideal place for a family stay. You just have to book it!
There are many marked trails to enjoy in the area, either to hike or mountain bike.
Do not forget your walking shoes!
Make a detour to the Gileppe Lake to enjoy a day outdoors walking along the water, hiking and having lunch at the panoramic restaurant.

This house is primarily intended for family groups. Non-family groups may nevertheless be allowed, subject to the acceptation of the owner and with a possible additional guarantee.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything you need. The kids loved it — spacious, safe, and perfect for families. The quiet, private neighborhood made it even more relaxing. An ideal place to enjoy the Ardennes together. Highly recommended!
Rustige ligging, mooi ingericht.
Aangenaam en proper vakantiehuis op een heel rustige ligging. Met de auto ben je op 5' in het dorpje (bakker, beenhouwer, kleine supermarkt). Klein minpuntje : geen sleutelcode ontvangen voor de aankomst, maar eigenaars wonen juist naast het vakantiehuis en daar was iemand beschikbaar.
Rustige omgeving, proper huis met alles dat we nodig hebben. Speeltuintje als extra pluspunt.
Un gîte confortable bien situé.
Fijn verblijf gehad. Het huis was ruim en zeer netjes onderhouden. We komen er graag nog eens terug!
Très bonne situation de la maison. Tout le nécessaire était présent. Le nettoyage des chambres (toiles d'araignée) pourrait être mieux.
Wij verbleven er een midweek met ons 2-jarig zoontje. Zeer mooi, proper en (voor ons 3) ruim huisje met hele fijne omheinde tuin voorzien van een speeltuig. Ideaal voor kleine kinderen. Goed uitgeruste keuken, goede douche, fijn bad. Heel rustig gelegen ook. Ondanks de vele regen hebben we een heel aangenaam verblijf gehad, alleen jammer dat we niet meer hebben kunnen genieten van de mooie tuin. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!
Une superbe maison qui a rendu notre séjour en famille très agréable. Sa situation non loin de la frontière allemande nous a permis de nous rendre sans stress et sans encombre au marché de Noël de Monschau.

Een fijn vakantiehuis voor een weekendje Ardennen
Wij vonden het een zeer aangenaam huisje, proper, gezellig en fris in de leefruimtes. Enkel met de temperaturen dat wij hadden, 34 graden, was het wel heel warm op de kamers. 1 tip misschien is een bordje of dergelijke om de woning achterkant te vinden, dit is niet heel duidelijk op het straat.
Genoten van onze vakantie. Heel mooi, goed onderhouden woning en tuin. Vriendelijke, begripvolle eigenaars. Kunnen deze woning zeker aanraden !
Prachtig nieuwe woning. Twee uitstekende badkamers, lig af grote keuken en aparte living. Mooie grote tuin.
Het huis zag eruit zoals op de foto's. Fijne afgesloten tuin waar kinderen veel in het huisje en op de schommels hebben gespeeld. Prima keuken. Slaapkamers prima, maar doordat er geen raamhorren waren bleef het er 's nachts warm en met raam open waren er veel muggen. Bedden waren nogal hard. Rustige landelijke omgeving.

We misten alleen een fatsoenlijke koekenpan! De rest was prima in orde en heel netjes!

Mooi vakantiehuis, dichtbij vele mooie wandelingen. Alles is in het huis aanwezig, maar het mist wat gezelligheid. Alles werkt, is proper en verzorgd. Tuin is nu afgezet en stemt niet meer overeen met de foto. Heel lage douche, waar een volwassene eigenlijk niet onder kan. Supervriendelijk eigenaars, die ons ook onmiddellijk uit de nood hebben geholpen bij het aankomen en gemakkelijk bereikbaar zijn.
Fijn huis , rustig gelegen. 3 Fijne slaapkamers , schone ruime douche ( enkel hangt douche kop erg laag ) grote woonkamer met open keuken. Heerlijke goed werkende hout kachel.
Het huis was heel mooi en gezellig, leuke liggen in een prachtig gebied om te wandelen. Zeker een aanrader! De enige opmerking is dat alles exact voor 6 mensen voorzien was. Zo waren er bijvoorbeeld net genoeg koffietassen voor ons allemaal, maar als deze in de afwasmachine staan heb je niets meer. Er zouden dus iets meer spullen voorzien mogen worden. Ook andere kleine dingen als afwasmiddel, zeep of een dekentje voor in de zetel zouden het nog afmaken. Verder echt een topverblijf!
