The exceptional setting of this 4 star small farmhouse for 13 persons in Libramont, Belgium, was used for the shooting of Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt's movie, Oscar et la dame rose.
You will immediately be delighted by the Ardennes countryside surrounding the holiday home and the private garden. The children will be happy to find a a swing and a trampoline there while the adults will enjoy a delicious barbecue. This vacation home may host up to 13 persons in the best conditions. The 4 bedrooms are indeed equipped with a private bathroom. There are thus 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. You will also find an outdoor sauna as well as a table football in the hall. The kitchen is well-equipped and you will be happy to find a gourmet set in the winter. The dining room will allow the whole group to be gathered together for convivial meals while the sitting room will be perfect for evenings by the fire.
Libramont is well-known for its foire agricole and is the perfect departure point to explore the Belgian Ardennes. Several hiking trails will take you through beautiful landscapes and you will even be able enjoy them on horse's back with Ecurie des Îles or by mountain bike with Vélo Haute Lesse. A little bit farther, the town of Saint-Hubert is also worth visiting. If you wish to get to know the local fauna, visit the Parc à Gibier de Saint-Hubert and enjoy a walk in the woods. The region is splendid all year long and is also perfect for a winter stay. The cross-country skiing trails of Saint-Hubert are indeed close to your holiday home.

Het vakantiehuis was gedateerd. Maar door de samenstelling van onze groep was het prima! Nadeel van de open haard was dat de afzuiging niet helemaal goed was. Let op voor rookontwikkeling! Verder was de gastvrouw zeer vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar! Ook in het Nederlands! We hebben veel plezier beleefd in het huisje. De tips mbt de wandeling rondom de omgeving van het huisje waren zeer goed! Bedankt!
Zeer leuke woning met een prachtige omgeving!
Zeer goed gelegen huisje dicht bij de natuur en perfect om tot rust te komen.
De bedden waren niet schoon, meubels zijn te oud en niet goed onderhouden, geen sleutels aanwezig in de kamers en badkamers.

__AEV5_Event_117 Une rénovation de la cuisine, de la salle à manger et de chambres a été effectuée. De keuken, eetkamer en enkele slaapkamers zijn gerenoveerd.
Het huis is prachtig gelegen in de velden en is grondig gerenoveerd. We hadden een goede vakantie maar het huis vertoont gebreken door (langdurig) slecht onderhoud. De toiletten spoelen niet door, er komt niet voldoende water uit de douchekoppen, de lattenbodems van de bedden vallen uit elkaar, de matrassen zijn verouderd, de tuin lag er verwilderd bij.... Spijtig, want het verblijf heeft alle troeven om een echte topper te zijn. Het huis en de gasten verdienen beter.
Bedankt voor uw opmerkingen. De eigenaresse is echter verrast door de opmerkingen over het onderhoud van het huis. Ze is niet op de hoogte van toiletten die niet werkten. De tuin, die op een ecologisch verantwoorde manier wordt onderhouden, in het bijzonder met betrekking tot nesten en de geboorte van kuikens in de heggen, zag eruit als normaal in deze regenachtige maand juni, iets wat vakantiegangers waarderen. Er was slechts één defecte douchekop - die inmiddels is vervangen - en slechts één bedbodem, in de kinderslaapkamer, die 2 latten miste, wat natuurlijk niet meer het geval is.
Een fijn huisje met leuke barrel sauna in de tuin. Het ligt op een groot bosdomein met typische Ardense wandelmogelijkheden: bossen en rechte boswegen. Afgelegen en stille ligging, maar toch goede bereikbaarheid op enkele minuten rijden van Libramont. De inrichting is met een mix van kwalitatieve materialen en antieke meubelstukken.
Idéalement située et spacieuse. La maison est idéale pour des vacances en famille. Chaque chambre bénéficie de sa propre sdb.
Charmant huis doch ligging niet ideaal, geen directe wandelingen mogelijk (omwille van privé-domein) tenzij eerst een stuk drukke en gevaarlijke weg te voet. Netheid liet te wensen over (algemeen, sauna, vooral keuken -niet gecontroleerd want overal etensresten). Haard functioneerde niet goed (veel rookontwikkeling). Geen comfortabel zitmeubilair (versleten en harde plank zithoek met kussens die niet matchen. Ligging voor slow travel: geen druk toeristisch gebied wel mooi.
