After an adventurous walk, enjoy the last rays of the sun on the spacious, south-facing terrace. A steaming cup of hot chocolate when it gets a little cooler is also delicious here.

And close by is one of our absolute favourite places in the Ardennes: the Plateau des Tailles near Baraque Fraiture. This protected natural park treats you to stunning landscapes and untouched nature, far away from everything. One of the most rugged places in Belgium, and without a doubt one of the best places for exploration as a couple. Did you bring a mountain bike? Then be sure to check this mountain bike route through forests and meadows on the heights around Vielsalm.
