This charming apartment awaits you in the centre of the lovely village of Lierneux. Set back from the road and located on the first floor of an old barn, it is now a comfortable 3 star holiday home. You will immediately be charmed by its minimalist decoration, each element of which has its importance. If you like visiting flea markets, you will appreciate the vintage objects and furniture that you will find in the living areas. You will even find an old piano in the living room. The large and bright living room benefits from quality furniture and creates a feeling of space. This holiday rental is a one-floor apartment and it is equipped with 1 bedroom and 1 separate bathroom which is also large and bright. This holiday cottage is perfect in all seasons. After a long walk in the cold weather, you will surely enjoy relaxing by the fire or in the garden on a deckchair when the weather allows it. And last but not least, you will enjoy a lovely view over the village and the original church tower.
The region of Lierneux, in the province of Liège (Belgium) is known for its fishing and skiing opportunities. The woods and the river are very close and, during the winter season, the ski slopes of Baraque Fraiture are less than 10 km away. If you like sports activities, you will be spoilt for choice: try the Electric Mountain Bike Experience, a kayak trip or the Wild Park Coo and Avenature parks. If you wish to discover the region in an original way, why not enjoy an electric scooter ride and/or visit the Maison du Pays de Salm ('House of the Land of Salm')? Are you a single parent with one child? You will surely enjoy visiting the Chlorophylle Park in Manhay, the Plopsa Coo amusement park and the Wild Park Coo. And if all this makes you hungry, you may treat your taste buds at Cyril Chocolat or order good dishes from the local caterer Saint-Martin.

Dit vakantiehuis is op en top in orde. De ontvangst was heel hartelijk en de eigenares is heel sympathiek. Grote troef is dat er een bakkerij en 2 superettes zijn binnen wandel afstand. Voor wie gaat om te wandelen kan je vanuit de woning diverse wandelingen doen. Je hoeft de wagen niet te gebruiken. De woning is heel netjes, smaakvol ingericht en functioneel. Zeker een aanrader voor wie gezellig met z’n tweetjes eens een weekend wil ontspannen.

Endroit merveilleux. Appartement joliment décoré avec beaucoup de gout. Une propriétaire très agréable et avec un sens de l'humour que nous avons beaucoup apprécié et où nous nous sommes senti immédiatement le bienvenue. On y retournera :)

Nette woning, goed gelegen, veel wandelmogelijkheden.
Rustig gelegen vakantie appartement , goed onderhouden mooi ingericht .Eetkamer tafel zou wat groter mogen is niet handig om gezelschapsspelletjes op te spelen .De keuken is mooi maar onhandig als je geen gebruik maakt van het afwasmachine daar er geen plaats is om de afwas te laten drogen .Je moet goed te been zijn om naar de tuin te gaan oppassen voor het struikelen bij de laatste trede .In de buurt vertrekken enkele mooie wandelingen en supermarkt in de buurt is ook meegenomen .

Friendly peaceful stay in a home from home and a place to get away from it all. Quiet village lovely landscape and countryside. Accommodation was great - late checkout on day of departure was also excellent so we could relax and enjoy the full day.
Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! Super vriendelijke ontvangst, top appartement en prachtige omgeving!
Wij hebben een gezellig weekend gehad ondanks het mindere weer. De wifi en de houtkachel werkten uitstekend nadat we zelf wat hebben geexperimenteerd. Wat meer info is wel wenselijk.
Het was een zeer aangenaam verblijf. Eerst was het wat koud, maar dankzij de houtkachel hebben we het toch aangenaam warm gekregen. We zijn ook zeer vriendelijk ontvangen en het was voor de gastvrouw geen enkel probleem dat ons dochtertje van 2 jaar mee zou komen. De woning is zeer ruim en modern, heel proper en net. Zeker een aanrader voor elk koppel dat even naar de Ardennen wil!
Zeer mooie woning en allemaal recent gerenoveerd. Zeer gezellig en vlakbij menige interessante dingen.

Dit huis is heel mooi. Ingericht met gevoel voor stijl. Ikea gecombineerd met vintage geeft een persoonlijk gevoel. Mooie badkamer, prima slaapkamer en de ligging is voor wandelaars uitstekend. Vanuit het huis zijn meerdere goed gemarkeerde wandelingen te maken. Op loop afstand de supermarkt.

Het appartement ligt boven de garage van de vriendelijke eigenaresse. Ondanks dat de woning in het midden van het dorp ligt, is het er stil. De klokken van de kerktoren worden 's avonds stilgelegd. Ook is er in de straat zelf amper verkeer. Het appartement zelf is zeer licht door de veluxen. Het klinkt er wel een beetje hol, wellicht doordat het een grote ruimte is. Goede matrassen (2 x 1).. Er zijn een aantal wandelingen die je direct vanuit de woning kan maken - allemaal perfect bewegwijzerd.

Een ruime en lichte woning. Gezellig ingericht. Alles aanwezig voor een zeer aangenaam verblijf.
Na vriendelijke ontvangst door de gastvrouw hadden wij een super verblijf in deze nette moderne vakantiewoning . Ideale uitvalbasis voor een rustige wandelvakantie.

Wij vonden dit een zeer aangename woning, gezellig ingericht met oog voor detail. Ook alle comfort en een zeer leuke tuin.
Een zeer rustig verblijf in een prachtige omgeving. Een aanbeveling voor wandelaars. Proficiat aan de vriendelijke eigenares die de gite zeer proper aanbied Brenda en Stefaan
Licht, ruim appartement met alle nodige faciliteiten. Het interieur bestaat uit een smaakvolle mix van hedendaagse, functionele meubelen met karakteristieke, oude elementen. Pluspunt bij dit appartement is het tuintje met tafeltje en stoelen, ligzetels en parasol. Ideaal om te verpozen tussen en na de wandelingen in deze prachtige streek. Kortom, een aanrader!
