When you hear the words ‘weekend in the Ardennes’, do you immediately think of lots of wood details, a cosy fireplace to warm up in front of after a day of outdoor activity and a wooded setting? Then you’ve come to the right place! This is the perfect accommodation to make wonderful memories with friends or family in the High Fens. Enjoy a good night’s sleep, put on your walking shoes after a delicious breakfast to get some fresh air (the forest and river are close by), enjoy the last rays of sunshine in the spacious garden with swing, a delicious barbeque dinner no matter the season and afterwards, play games in the comfortable living room. The stakes? The loser has to walk to the bakery the next morning to buy fresh, delicious pastries for breakfast!
The home is located in the picturesque High Fens. Follow one of the walking trails to Noir Flohay and enjoy the best that the region has to offer. But our favourite? The Bayehon Waterfall, not far from Longfaye. To reach this nine metre-high waterfall, you can follow our mountain bike route in Eupen-Malmedy. We also recommend the unique GrillHike at the top of the ski run in Ovifat. You receive a detailed route description and a backpack with everything you need to enjoy a barbecue in the heart of nature. Beer enthusiasts should definitely visit the charming Bellevaux family brewery (Malmedy). The brewery not only has wonderful products to enjoy, but is also a great starting point for several walking routes.
In short, the perfect holiday destination for recharging your batteries all year round!
Want to book your holiday outside of high season? We recommend it! It will be wonderfully quiet here and the lower prices will please your wallet.

Compact huis, voldoende voor verblijf met mooie wandelingen. Jammer dat op de verdieping geen badkamer/wc is.

maison pratique et bien entretenue sans charme particulier. Nous n'avons pas pu utiliser le wifi. Pour le reste tout ok. Très bien située entre Malmedy et le Signal de Botrange.

Nous avons séjourné chez Chantal en équipe pour une retraite de team building. Nous avons été ravis de l'accueil qui nous a été réservé. La maison était très propre, bien entretenue et très équipée surtout la cuisine. Nous sommes plus que satisfaits et recommandons cette maison aux autres vacancier·ères sans hésitation :-)
Zeer aangenaam verblijf met zeer hartelijke ontvangst. De keuken is uitstekend uitgerust. De woon/eetkamer is eerder aan de kleine kant voor 10 personen bij slecht weer, wat bij ons spijtig genoeg het geval was. Slaapkamers waren zeker in orde alleen hadden twee bedden een erg harde matras (is natuurlijk ook persoonlijke voorkeur). Efen goede keuze voor een kort verblij

zeer proper en een goed ingerichte keuken ook voor negen personen, tien personen kunnen niet rond de tafel zitten maar er is wel slaapplaats genoeg, het gebrek aan een wc en badkamer boven is hoe je het bekijkt, het was wel even zoeken naar vuilniszakken, er waren er te weinig aanwezig en rare sortering van huisvuil(privé ophaling blijkbaar) ook een extra dweil zou niet slecht zijn ,vooraan binnenkomen met vuile voeten maar eveneens langs achter ,niets om de voeten aan aftevegen,we komen terug

We hebben een weekend met een vriendengroep van 10 personen in het huisje doorgebracht. Het ontvangst was zeer warm en Chantal heeft ons een aantal leuke wandeltips gegeven . De inrichting is schoon en praktisch en de keuken is voorzien van goede apparatuur met genoeg pannen voor 10 personen. Vanuit het huisje kan je prima wandelen en een bezoek aan de Peak Brewery is zeker de moeite waard! (is slechts 10 km lopen door mooie valleien en heuvellandschap).
We zijn zeer vriendelijk verwelkomt en de verantwoordelijke was altijd bereikbaar voor hulp of info.
de woning heeft slaapgelegenheid voor 10+ mensen,maar de leefruimte is wat te klein voor de groep.De eet ruimte is maar voor 9personen,de keuken is met alles voorzien maar klein.De brandalarmen gaan te snel af.Er is een tuin met schommel voor de kinderen.Voldoende parkeer gelegennheid en prachtige wandelingen in de buurt.Afval gescheiden houden moet aan gewerkt worden.
