This former gatekeeper's house along an old railway line has been turned into a charming holiday home next to the RAVeL, a cycling and walking path.

The owners fell in love with this former gatekeeper’s home and immediately saw the opportunity to renovate it and transform it into a 3-star comfortable cottage to accommodate a small family of four. And they did well, with the quality furnishings and a neat black & white decoration that looks just like the old vintage B&W photos.

As soon as come in, you will also fall in love with this holiday rental. There is a new fully equipped kitchen with a very modern look in black and with cement tiles. The dining room next doors extends into the living room, which is equipped with a TV corner, internet connection, and a wood-burning stove to relax by the fire.

Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom has two bunk beds and a small bathroom next doors. A few stairs above, you will find the double bedroom with its own ensuite bathroom.

For your convenience, the owners have thought of everything. There is a washing machine on site, baby equipment, as well as some outdoor amenities that include garden furniture and a terrace with barbecue.

With the RAVeL next to your holiday home, you can explore the region on foot or by bike with your family or as a couple.

Marchin is located just 10 km away from Huy, a small town with many restaurants and shops that is worth visiting. And, of course, there you can also visit the Fort of Huy and the Collegiate Church of Notre-Dame and its Treasury.
