A deep sense of calm will wash over you from the moment you set eyes on this marvel of wood and glass, nestled deep in nature on the edge of the forest. And that calm will only increase the moment you enter this gloriously rustic and comfortable chalet, where the heating and cooking is all exclusively wood-powered and electricity is provided by solar panels. The four bedrooms, two of which are on the mezzanine level, and two bathrooms can accommodate up to eight guests. The living room, complete with bay window, a view of the surrounding nature, a wood-burning stove, and the comfiest sofa, is the perfect place to relax after a long walk. The well-equipped, open-plan kitchen, with an attractive counter top, includes a wood-burning stove, oven, fridge, coffee machine, and an electric kettle.
On the large, semi-covered wooden deck is a welcoming, rustic table, a fantastic BBQ grill for special meals, and, just next to it, a Nordic bath that awaits for a rejuvenating dip while you take in the breathtaking panoramic view. The lovely private garden is the perfect place for your dog to run around. There is also a shed for your bikes.
There is no internet connection, allowing you to disconnect completely and enjoy being surrounded by nature! The private car park has space for four cars.

The perfect spot for a relaxing afternoon stroll around the shops or an adrenalin-fuelled day of adventure with monkey bridges, zipline, climbing, paintball, and laser tag at the Dinant Évasion Park. Whether you’re with friends or family, fun is guaranteed! You can also laugh yourself silly atThe Labyrinth: a huge green maze the size of 22 football pitches full of secret passages and dead ends, and mysterious characters who will help you find your way out.
Or, why not delve into the underworld of the Hotton Caves, travelling 70 metres underground to discover the incredible work of water and time in this true natural treasure! Another unmissable visit is the Topiary Park in Durbuy, which stretches over 10,000 m² and has more than 250 plant sculptures, a collection that is one of a kind in Europe. These plant sculptures are made up of 95% boxwood. The oldest of them has been standing for 120 years and is still as green as ever!
You can also explore the world of nature and fishing in a fun way at Riveo in Hotton. Travel across continents to learn about the history of rivers, their inhabitants, and the various ways to catch them. A river has even been recreated in the building! mooi verblijf, we hebben genoten
Voor wie houdt van "back to basics". Alles in orde. Je moet wel weten dat omwille van de aard van de woning, de slaapkamers niet geheel geluidsdicht zijn. Je kan niet zorgeloos liggen lawaai maken in de woonkamer als er al kinderen liggen te slapen. Enkele kamers liggen letterlijk boven de living, zonder al te veel afscherming. Prima contact wel met de eigenaar/beheerder.
Heel rustige omgeving en uitstekend onderhouden huisje!
Wij hadden een heerlijk vriendinnenweekend! Heerlijk vertragen en relaxen in de natuur. Ik kom terug!

We hadden een fantastisch verblijf, de omgeving is fantastisch! Terug koken en verwarmen op hout is aanpassen maar erg fijn! Prachtige woning die gezelligheid uitstraalt!

Zeer rustig gelegen met prachtig uitzicht over de velden. Luxe met twee badkamers, twee wc's en een hottub. Heerlijk back to basic met koken op houtvuur, maar ook heel fijn dat er een waterkoker en broodrooster was voor het moderne comfort. We voelden ons er meteen op ons gemak.
Het huis is prachtig gelegen:aan de rand van het bos en zonder directe buren. Minpunt: de keuken is op hout. Koken duurt lang en is niet altijd evident. Bovendien gaat de warmte van de keuken naar de slaapkamers. Geen microwave. Voor entertainment moet je zelf zorgen, zeker als het je in het huis wilt blijven bij slecht weer.
