The village Maredret belongs to the municipality of Anhée in the province of Namur. It is located at the edge of the breath-taking Belgian Ardennes and harbours a great 19th century abbey. Maredret is only a half an hour's drive away from Dinant , one of the most charming little cities in the Ardennes and also the birthplace of Adolphe Sax.

Maredsous [9km]

Say Maredsous and one will immediately think of the abbey! Cheese and beer make sure thousands of extra visitors come have a look in this small village. It is the perfect place for epicureans. About 20 kilometres away is the beautiful city of Dinant and the Walloon capital, Namur, is only a half an hour's drive.

The village of Falaën in the province of Namur is officially one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia ( les Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie ).
