It’s a house from the past that has retained its local stone, old wooden floor, beautiful doors, cement tiling... and its history! The owners love telling its story to their holidaymakers and showing beautiful pictures from the period spread throughout the house. The décor and layout give this holiday home a contemporary twist which adds to its charm. With velvet, black and white notes and well-chosen colours, the interior welcomes you with open arms for a delightful stay.
You’ll stay in an absolutely charming part of the Ardennes (that’s easy to access!). The little villages of Paliseul municipality, like Framont where you’ll stay, are full of bucolic walks in the ‘bois sans nombres’ or ‘countless woods’ (to quote Paul Verlaine who knew the region so well) and meadows, along bubbling brooks... And to top it off? These paths are still relatively unknown, so you’ll enjoy absolute peace and quiet.
Here, you travel through time, to the romantic ambiance of the Belle Epoque, when a family from the city came to breathe the pure air of the countryside...
The owners recently restored an authentic mill next to the holiday home. They produce organic spelt flour there and bake bread in the wood oven. Do not hesitate to visit this mill, depending on the season you as a visitor of the holiday home even get a kilo of spelt flour or a freshly baked bread.
On request, you also get from the owner an introductory lesson 'nordic walking' (depending on availability and with surcharge). A nice way to explore the region, get some fresh air and get your body to work!
This house is primarily intended for family groups. Non-family groups may nevertheless be allowed, subject to the acceptation of the owner and with a possible additional guarantee.
It is not allowed to organise student parties, bachelor parties, drinking parties,…

Prachtig huis, goed gelegen en heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Slaapkamers, keuken en eetkamer top. Living vrij klein maar gezellig. Goede ligging. Wij gingen vierde keer en hopen op meer.
Schitterend. De eigenaar is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij en heeft nog een zeer interessante rondleiding gegeven in le vieux moulin. Fantastisch gewoon.
Charmante vakantiewoning. Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar, we brachten met hem een bezoekje aan de oude molen naast het huis. Woning is zeer smaakvol ingericht . Horren in de slaapkamer zijn een pluspunt. Met het warme weer kan je slapen met de ramen open. Bakker , slager en supermarkten dichtbij. Als we 1 ding misten zou het een wasmachine en droogrek zijn. ( We verbleven 2 weken in de gite). We hadden een leuke zonnige vakantie, we komen graag nog eens terug.
Leuke vakantie woning. De eigenaars zijn super vriendelijke mensen.
We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad en een zeer vriendelijk ontvangst. Je hoeft je geen moment te vervelen want het huis ligt perfect om diverse activiteiten te bereiken. De vers bezorgde eitjes waren een leuke en attente verrassing. Bedankt voor het fijne verblijf en tips.
Schitterend authentiek huis in een rustig dorp. De eigenaren stonden borg voor een heel hartelijke ontvangst en we kregen een rondleiding in hun molen. Heel enthousiaste gids !! We gaan terug !
Maison très bien aménagée et située pour découvrir la vallée de la Semois. Quelques balades au départ de la maison. L'accueil a été formidable, petit feu de bois à l'arrivée, pain maison et oeufs offerts. S'il fallait améliorer une chose, ce serait de mettre des stores occultants dans les chambres. Réveil au lever du soleil pendant toute la semaine, on aurait aimé dormir plus tard pendant nos vacances. sinon, nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Framont.
Nous avons passé un excellent week-end à Framont! Le propriétaire nous a accueilli très chaleureusement! La maison est très joliment décorée , la cuisine très bien équipée, un salon cosy,une salle à manger très agréable ; à l’étage 3 grandes chambres avec une excellente literie ainsi qu’une salle de bain et une salle de douche Le jardin est très agréable avec des fauteuils à disposition pour se détendre Merci pour l’accueil et la visite du moulin qui jouxte la maison ! Nous reviendrons !
Très belle maison avec une âme dans un cadre enchanteur.
Zeer aardige en gastvrije ontvangst door de heer Hannard, met ook veel nuttige informatie over de omgeving, onder meer wandelingen en de geschiedenis van het huis en de molen. Het huis is tegelijk oud maar ook modern en heel prettig om een lang weekeinde in te verblijven. Wij willen zeker nog eens terug!
Super location. Je recommande à 100%. Excellente situation, très belle location avec tout ce qu'il faut. Excellente literie. Propriétaire très accueillant. Totalement satisfaite.
hartelijke ontvangst - functionele en goed uitgeruste vakantiewoning waarvan het historisch karakter bewaard bleef. Goeie ligging, kort bij Paliseul - inkoopfaciliteiten- en een prachtig bewegwijzerd wandelgebied vanaf de vakantiewoning en de aanpalende dorpen
