3.5-star holiday cottage warmly decorated and ideal for family of six. It is located not so far from the river Meuse, in the province of Namur, region offering numerous activities.
This little house was built in 1850 to be renovated in 2008 and transformed into a holiday cottage for six persons. It is welcoming and laid out to offer its guests a pleasant stay. The ground floor is composed of a very nicely furnished living area, which includes a comfortable living room, a dining room with a wood-burning stove, and a nice and functional eat-in kitchen. The self-catering accommodation contains a beautiful veranda that will allow you to share great times even on the rainy days. It also gives you direct access to the garden and the terrace.
The first floor of the holiday cottage counts three 2-person bedrooms and one bathroom. The decoration of the house proves a great attention to details to leave the guests with amazing memories from their stay in Belgium.
The region will also contribute to making your vacation in the Ardennes special. It overflows with cultural curiosities, like the Castle of Montaigle used to stand; now we are left with some beautiful ruins and a museum. The ruins of the Castle of Poilvache are also worth a detour because it is a natural park now as well. It is located close to the beautiful city of Dinant. For the shopaholic, the city of Namur is only 12 kilometres away from Profondeville. You’ll enjoy the various stores and restaurants, and you’ll be able to stroll around the pedestrian streets of the centre.

Toffe, ruime woonst, voorzien met alles wat nodig is voor een weekje weg. Vriendelijke ontvangst. De eigenaars spreken heel goed Nederlands, en geven veel tips voor uitjes. Goeie uitvalsbasis om de streek te ontdekken. Namen en Dinant heel dichtbij... Diverse winkels en apotheek op slechts enkele minuten rijden.

Mooi huis, alles is er, ligging is ideaal voor het verkennen van de omgeving. De eigenaar is een hele aardige man die ins heel warm welkom heette.

Fijn en stil huis, dat mooi werd verbouwd en ingericht met alle comfort , Gelegen in mooie streek, ideaal om batterijen helemaal op te laden.
misschien dat er beneden geen wc aanwezig is en voor mensen met beperkingen zoals ikzelf is dit niet altijd gemakkelijk maar verder tiptop in orde!

Goed ontvangen op een mooie, verzorgde en gezellige plek. Een vakantiehuis dat een beetje aanvoelt als een vakantieTHUIS. Dankjewel aan gastheer Claude voor het onderhoudende gesprek bij aankomst en vertrek :-)
Ravie ! Maison super cosy et super propre. Un jardin très agréable et bien entretenu donnant sur un champ de blé. Les propriétaires vivant à côté sont charmants. Je recommande vivement.
Maison très agréable à vivre et jardin très bien entretenu avec vue superbe. Propriétaires attentifs au bien-être de leurs locataires tout en restant discrets. Commerces à proximité (Okay, Proxi Delhaize et friterie Chez Gilbert) et ravel pour les balades à vélo ou à pied. Excellent séjour en famille.
Prima vakantiewoning voor families met kinderen. Er valt weinig aan te merken aan de woning: alles is zoals in de beschrijving vermeld wordt - geen verrassingen. Het huis ligt evenwel ietwat geïsoleerd en aan een weg waar erg snel gereden wordt. Mensen met honden en kleine kinderen moeten hier attent voor zijn. We werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen en onmiddellijk geholpen bij kleine probleempjes. Besluit: één van de beste gites totnogtoe. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Prachtig huisje met gezellige kachel. Mooi afgewerkt met oog voor detail. En een ongelooflijk vriendelijk ontvangst door de eigenaars!

Heel leuk, aangenaam verblijf gehad! Zeer nette woning en alles is aanwezig. Vriendelijke ontvangst en zeer behulpzame eigenaars.
Een aanrader voor wie de omgeving Namen - Dinant wil verkennen!
Propriétaires charmants et discrets. Agréable maison et jardin. Route devant la maison avec passages rapides de voitures mais heureusement pas trop dérangeant. Bon à savoir : bien admis aux chiens mais accès interdit à l'étage (chambres). Ravel à proximité pour ballades à pied ou vélo. Connexion wifi stable (OK pour Netflix).
