This 4 star holiday cottage for 5 persons in Profondeville was entirely renovated and cleverly mixes vintage and modern elements. It is close to the woods and you will be able to soak up the Ardennes nature whenever you wish to. And the icing on the cake is the relaxation room with sauna and Jacuzzi!

On the edge of the forest, this 4 star vacation home from the seventies house has many surprises for you in store. It was totally renovated and now cleverly mixes vintage look (an authentic one, mind you) with modern decoration and comfort. Once in the sitting room, you will immediately be charmed by the brightness of the place and by the large windows looking over the neighbouring forest. What else? You may easily spend a family stay here since the cottage may host up to 5 persons thanks to 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The Scandinavian decoration is to be found all around the house: the warm tones, the sweet patterns and the airy layout make for an immediate feeling of well-being. If you wish to enjoy this feeling further, the (private) Jacuzzi and sauna await you! As far as the exterior is concerned, you will benefit from a terrace with barbecue. The garden is spread over several levels, which allows much light to penetrate the house and makes for a true nature feeling.

The charming town of Profondeville is located in the Province of Namur (Belgium), more precisely in the Condroz region. In this region, you may admire the reliefs of the Ardennes as well as the valley of the Meuse river. The villages of Yvoir and Anhée are also close. If you like flowers and castles, why not visit de Jardins d’Annevoie (Gardens of Annevoie)? If you are looking for fun activities, you may enjoy a kayak trip down the Lesse river or a boat trip on the Meuse… You may also discover the Draisines de la Molignée (‘railbikes of the Molignée’) and explore the region in an original way. From your holiday home, you will also be able to visit the well-known town of Dinant: a visit of the citadel, a licence-free boat trip, a boat trip on the Meuse river… you will be spoilt for choice! Finally, do not miss the Abbey of Maredsous or Brasserie du Bocq ('Bocq's brewery') to discover some local beers. We definitely enjoyed our stay! Very clean and very well equipped house with ideal location close to the woods and a river. Great place for hiking and/or biking. Very calm and quiet place. The only surprise - was charged on spot with a local tax in addition to already paid to Ardennes-Etape. Would be good to know in advance of any unexpected costs.

Fijn huis op prima locatie, keukeninrichting echter sober en er ontbrak van alles. Glaswerk moet ook nodig aangevuld worden. Wij waren hier vorig jaar ook en het was jammer om te zien dat de inrichting achteruit is gegaan.

Fijn huisje in een prachtige omgeving. Veel mogelijkheden voor wandelingen en sportieve fietsers. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor uitstappen in de buurt. Klein minpuntje: de badkamer en wellnessruimte waren vrij vochtig waardoor handdoeken heel moeilijk te drogen waren. Een droogrekje voor buiten zou handig zijn.

Er was ons niet meegedeeld dat de sleutel opgehaald diende te worden in restaurant "les 7 meuses". Dit zou ons veel zoekwerk bespaard hebben! Gezellige woning maar naar onze mening niet geschikt voor 6 volwassenen. Smalle eettafel en keuken niet voldoende uitgerust (weinig bestek, kookpotten,...) en slechts 2 volwaardige 2-persoonsbedden. Leuke tuin en terras maar weinig zon.
