This charming farmhouse in Redu was fully renovated in 2010 and has all the qualities required of a holiday home in the Ardennes. This holiday home has seven bedrooms and five bathrooms. These bedrooms are spacious, well equipped, and provide each guest with the appropriate level of privacy.

Het was een super aangenaam vakantiehuis
We verbleven met 11 personen in een vakantiehuis voor 15 personen in Redu, in de Ardennen. Bij aankomst schrokken we even: de voorkant van het huis oogt niet erg aantrekkelijk, met een grote verweerde poort. Dit was anders dan de foto’s op de website, die achteraf van de achterkant van het huis bleken te zijn. Gelukkig veranderde dat gevoel meteen toen we binnenstapten. Het huis was heerlijk warm en het prachtige trappenhuis gaf meteen een charmante, karaktervolle indruk. De woning biedt veel ruimte, waardoor iedereen zich af en toe even kon terugtrekken. Toch is het huis wel toe aan een upgrade. Sommige zaken zijn duidelijk aan vervanging toe en het schoonmaken mag zorgvuldiger. Zo zit er schimmel in de douche, waren de koekenpannen versleten en waren er voor een groot gezelschap te weinig glazen aanwezig. Daarnaast waren er enkele mankementen in onze badkamer: het wasrekje viel uit elkaar en de knoppen van de badkamerkast zaten los, waardoor deze bijna niet open te krijgen was. Ook de banken in de woonkamer waren behoorlijk doorgezakt en een tuintafel als eettafel vonden wij persoonlijk wat minder passend voor een groot vakantiehuis. Verder lagen er op verschillende plekken spullen die vermoedelijk door eerdere gasten zijn achtergelaten, wat een wat rommelige indruk gaf. Een groot pluspunt vonden wij de aanwezigheid van een wasmachine en droger. Omdat een van de kinderen ziek werd en moest overgeven, was het erg fijn dat we meteen alles konden wassen. Ondanks de verbeterpunten hebben we een heerlijk verblijf gehad. De ligging is fantastisch: je bent zo in het gezellige plaatsje Redu, waar de miniatuurspeurtocht een aanrader is voor zowel kinderen als volwassenen. Kortom, het is een prachtig vakantiehuis met veel potentie, maar het verdient wel weer eens een grondige opfrisbeurt.
Maison spacieuse , idéalement aménagée pour un WE en famille avec ados et jeunes enfants. Localisation idéale pour se balader en pleine nature et pour découvrir l’Euro Space center. À notre arrivée, la température de la maison était particulièrement basse….les thermostats étant réglés au minimum. Compte tenu du volume, il a fallu attendre le lendemain pour profiter d’une chaleur confortable…seul bémol. Qq détails à revoir pour que ce gîte obtienne la note maximale ?

Wij verbleven in het vakantiehuis met collega's naar aanleiding van de beurs te Libramont. Het huis was voldoende proper en goed ingericht, er waren voldoende kamers en sanitaire voorzieningen. Wij kijken tevreden terug naar ons verblijf.

Zeer goed vakantiehuis in een prachtige omgeving. Spijting dat het formaat van tafel en kookpotten niet aangepast is aan de groepsgrootte
Maison très agréable, calme, très peu de bruits, bonne isolation phonique pour les familles avec bébés. Idéalement située, grand jardin (partagé) pour les enfants. Maison propre et en ordre, contact aisé (propriétaire et personnes d'entretien). Le forfait "Eau-Chauffage-Electricité" est peut-être trop élevé : 420,00 €. Alors que les relevés réels ne devraient pas excéder 150,00 € et probablement mettre en avant une attitude éco-responsable. Parfait pour grandes familles, à recommander.

Wij hebben een fijn weekend met vrienden achter de rug in het vakantiehuis. We waren gezegend met prachtig weer en hebben dus vooral veel tijd buiten doorgebracht. De kinderen konden zich in de tuin uitleven. Binnen is het huis nogal gehorig, wat met een grote bende niet handig is. Zodra iemand wakker is, is de rest wakker. Dus met minder goed weer denken we dat het minder aangenaam is als je met zo veel volk binnen moet doorbrengen.
Uitstekend ruim huis voor een groep. Zeer gezellige, goed uitgeruste keuken. Contact met eigenaar ook prima. Uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor fietstochten en wandelingen.
Zeer ruime woning met genoeg slaapkamers en badkamers, dus genoeg plaats met een grote groep/familie. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Mooie tuin en een prima ligging om te wandelen of een uitstapje te doen. Contact met de verhuurder ook prima. Minpuntje: het huis was niet goed gepoetst, dus dat hebben we zelf nog moeten doen. Daarnaast ook veel trapjes in huis, in ons geval met een kindje van 1.5 jaar dus opletten geblazen.
Een zeer verzorgde woning uiterst geschikt voor een familie- of groepsvakantie. Tip voor eigenaars: toegankelijk maken voor mensen met een beperking. Er is 1 slaapkamer beneden maar bij de verbinding tussen de ruimtes op de benedenverdieping tref je telkens 3 tot 4 treden zonder leuning. Zeer moeilijk voor ouderen met stok, rollator of rolwagen. Dit vergt hulp!
Maison très vaste et idéalement située pour découvrir la région (notamment à pied en partant directement du gîte). Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour en famille.

Excellent endroit pour un groupe (pas avec des enfants en bas âge). Quelques problèmes d'entretien de certains électro. Nettoyage pas top partout (nous avons utilisé toutes les chambres et salles-de-bain)
