This modern and convivial 3.5-star self-catering accomodation, built on farmland between Rochefort and Ciney in the Province of Namur of Belgium, will delight all countryside-loving families.

This holiday cottage, located near the famous towns of Rochefort and Ciney, will welcome you to the Province of Namur. It is perfect for families of up to eighteen members that wish to get away for a weekend in the Belgian Ardennes. The ever curious will discover the joys of living on a small farmhouse.

Your holiday house comprises seven bedrooms and seven fully equipped bathrooms. Although your house adjoins another one, your intimacy is assured thanks to the large amounts of space you dispose of.

The Ardennes region represents the perfect setting for convivial family meals. That is why the kitchen of your holiday house comes fully equipped to satisfy the needs of the largest groups (eighteen members). After the meals, you will gladly gather in the large living room whose comforts include an open fireplace, a TV, a DVD reader, hi-fi equipment and an internet connection. If your children want to enjoy the good weather, the large garden and its many installations (swings, trampolines, slides, pétanque strip…) await them. A barbecue is also available in your holiday cottage. Should the skies be grey, you can relax in the infrared cabin whilst the kids play table football.

This holiday house near Rochefort and Ciney is also perfect for professional groups.You can organise your seminars in the available meeting room.

Close to your holiday cottage is the town of Musée Monopoli has not much to do with the famous board game. This museum is actually dedicated to electric machines. The owner, Renato, talks about the main pieces of his museum with enthusiasm. There is no entry fee, but reservations are needed.

Half an hour from your holiday cottage is the village of Purnode. Stop by the Brasserie du Bocq and savour some delicious local beers. This brewery is one of the few that still respect the traditional production techniques. A stone’s throw away from there, you can hop on a train and enjoy the Chemin de Fer du Bocq route between Ciney and Yvoir for a journey full of surprises.

Superbe et grande maison de vacance idéalement située dans un endroit calme, vert et à proximité de nombreux lieux de balade. Maison très bien équipée et idéale pour les familles avec enfants au vu des nombreux équipements proposés pour les enfants tant en intérieur qu'en extérieur. Par contre, à notre surprise, le jardin (et infrastructures extérieures) est commun avec les 2 autres maisons de vacance mitoyennes ce qui n?est pas clairement annoncé mais avec des voisins respectueux,aucun souci ;)

Zeer aangenaam verblijf, goed ingerichte keuken, comfortabele bedden. Jammer genoeg hebben we een redelijk stormachtige nacht gehad wat we door het hele huis hoorden... vooral op de 2de verdieping, Voor de rest een heel warm huis en dit mag je letterlijk nemen!

Zeer leuk verblijf voor kinderen. Zeer aangename ontvangst met springkasteel en speelgoed voor de kinderen om op de binnenplaats van de boerderij te spelen. Ruime kamers, met voldoende badkamers. Goed ingerichte keuken. Zeer huiselijk.

Prima locatie om met een groep naar toe te gaan. Voor volwassenen is er een jacuzzi (helaas bij te betalen) en een infrarood sauna (inbegrepen). Er zijn heel wat faciliteiten voor kinderen. (speeltuin, springkasteel, gocarts, gezelschapsspelletjes...) Het is wel vlak bij een varkensboerderij, en dat is buiten goed te ruiken.

Bij aankomt kregen we te horen dat we stil moeten zijn. De huurder liep ons continu te checken. Vaatwasser was kapot, en de huurder was boos van waarom we de vaatwasser hadden aangezet,terwijl was nergens aangegeven dat de vaatwasser kapot.. huurder was zeer onvriendelijk. We hebben de hele weekend de afwas gedaan voor 18 personen.

Ardennes-Etape

Het is waar dat je rekening moet houden met mede vakantiegangers en buren. Het huis is niet vrijstaand. De industriële vaatwasser is niet stuk, maar vraagt wel om een speciale uitleg die de eigenaresse geeft bij aankomst. Door u zeer late aankomst heeft ze dat pas de volgende ochtend kunnen doen.
