This charming 3-star village house in the province of Luxemburg provides peace and tranquillity. It’s a convivial and well-equipped house that will instantly make you feel at home.
This village house is the former home of the owners, a young couple with two children. They now live elsewhere and rent out their house to people on holiday. The owners have therefore given the layout of this holiday home a family feel: three bedrooms, two of which are doubles and one children’s room with two single beds, a bathroom with a bathtub, shower, and washbasin, a well-equipped kitchen, a living room, and a dining room with a play area for the little ones.
The central living space, with a kitchen that is open to the dining room and living room, is very pleasant and bright because it is glazed on all sides. The high-quality materials (wooden floor and stone wall) also add a great deal of warmth to this Ardennes house.
The sliding glazed door in the living room provides direct access to the wooden patio and then the garden.
The house is located in the heart of the small village of Lavacherie, in the municipality of Sainte-Ode. A few shops are within walking distance, including a bakery, butcher’s shop, and a mini-market.
The region of Saint-Hubert is very well known for its spacious forests and preserved wild spaces. So nature enthusiasts will be very satisfied here: loads of signposted walks, opportunities to spot wildlife or hear the bellowing stags, pick mushrooms, etc.

The city of La Roche-en-Ardenne, which is popular with tourists, is just a few kilometres away. There is no shortage of activities on offer!

This holiday home has a private patio. The garden is shared with the owners’ parents, who live next door. But they make a special effort to be discreet and give priority to holidaymakers so that they can fully enjoy the garden and the outdoors during their stay in the Ardennes.

Un lieu chaleureux avec un paysage magnifique
Een mooi huis, compleet qua inrichting. Alles aanwezig, netjes en schoon. Ligging prima. Bovenaan de weg liep je het bos in. Supermarkt in de buurt. Een minpuntje, de boiler was niet toereikend om het bad te vullen. Echt een prima huis voor een aangenaam verblijf !

Vanaf de vakantiewoning en in de nabije omgeving kan je mooie, goed aangegeven wandelingen maken. Zorg zelf voor de nodige wandel- en fietskaarten en informatie i.v.m. de omgeving, want dat is in de gite niet voorhanden. Bakker, beenhouwer en supermarktje dichtbij. Mooi terras met open zicht naar achter. Voor wie niet goed te been is, is dit misschien geen aanrader. Te veel trappen en opstapjes. Wij hebben hier een fijne vakantieweek gehad, mede door het schitterende nazomerweer.

Dit huis kan echt een heel mooi huis worden wanneer bepaalde dingen in het huis worden aangepakt zoals voldoende opbergruimtes voorzien in slaapkamer, badkamer en keuken, een degelijke zetel om in te zitten, beveiliging aan de ramen in woonkamer en keuken, badkamer met werkende kranen en verwarming.
