This charming 3 star holiday home has all modern comforts. The half-timbering and authentic materials add to its strong character. You will feel like you are on vacation right away.
The holiday cottage is located in the Belgian Ardennes, on the hills between Stavelot and Malmedy. You will enjoy the magnificent view on the valley. To start the day off, nothing beats a good breakfast on the terrace where you can soak up the green view before setting out to explore the region.
This old farmhouse can accommodate up to six people. With family or friends, you will have at your disposal three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The kitchen of your charming holiday home in Stavelot opens on to the dining room, so you can enjoy an aperitif while preparing the meal together. The wooden beams give a lot of character to the house. In addition, some walls have been hollowed out to open the spaces. After a day full of walks, excursions, visits, ... or simply relaxation, you will enjoy the warmth of the wood fire in the living room, and you will let the crackling wooden logs rock you.
Located in a small hamlet between Stavelot and Malmedy, this cottage is a nice starting point to discover the region. There are several activities nearby to please all tastes. As a cultural outing, we recommend the Abbey of Stavelot. Do you enjoy outdoor sports? Then go hiking or mountain biking. For motor sports fans, you will be close to the famous Spa-Francorchamps Racetrack. And for a fun night out, why would not you go to the cinema to watch a movie at MovieMills or go for a bowling session in Malmedy?
If you too want to enjoy some peaceful moments and be in nature, this cosy holiday home in Stavelot is for you: soak up the Ardennes character of the cottage and admire the beautiful landscapes. This old farmhouse will delight your whole group.
Since one pet is allowed in the cottage, this is the perfect opportunity to bring your dog to go with you on the many beautiful walks that are possible in this area.

Aanrader, zeker wanneer je de omloop van Spa Francorchamps wil bezoeken die op 1.5 km verwijderd ligt.
Een zeer charmante authentieke woning , gezellig ingericht en mooi uitzicht. Wij wandelaars met een hond hebben genoten van de kerstdagen in een gezellige sfeer.
We hebben een verblijf van 3 dagen achter de rug met 3 koppels en alles is ons uitstekend bevallen . De gastheer Tony was ongelofelijk vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het huis was op alle gebied wat we ervan verwacht hadden ! Het is zeker de moeite waard om daar te verblijven en we hadden veel geluk met het weer ; vrieskou maar veel zon dus de wandeling kon niet meer stuk . Nog eens bedankt Tony voor het prachtig verblijf en we komen zeker terug !

Een origineel en gezellig oud huis in de stijl van de streek. De sanitaire voorzieningen zijn aan renovatie toe. De vloer van de bovenverdieping kraakt erg.
Het huis is charmant (houten balken, open haard), authentiek en heeft een heel groot terras met mooi uitzicht. De keuken is vrij basic uitgerust, er zijn veel te weinig glazen, weinig schalen en geen broodmand. De eigenaar meldde evenwel aan dit euvel te zullen verhelpen. Een douchegordijn in de kleine badkamer zou ook een pluspunt zijn.
Leuk, knus, authentiek vakwerkhuisje met werkelijk prachtig uitzicht. Gelegen op toplocatie, vlakbij allerlei uitvalswegen. Makkelijk in Spa, Stavelot en Malmedy, maar ook Coo en Trois-Ponts zij n prima bereikbaar. Let op, huisje is meer dan 100 jaar oud, hierdoor lage balken en plafonds en gehorig. TV werkt via wifi en Google Chromecast. Zou handig zijn als hier beschrijving bij zou zijn hoe het werkt. Fijn verblijf gehad!

Alles was prima in orde, alleen een omslachtig gedoe met de tv, een tablet of gsm nodig hebben om hem te kunnen gebruiken is niet voor iedereen weggelegd, een schotelantenne is misschien de oplossing
Petite maison typique bien restaurée et très bien située dans un environnement calme. Le rez-de-chaussée est très agréable à vivre et la terrasse est un réel plus.
ondanks de grote hitte was het aangenaam toeven. tijdens de ochtend en de avond genoten we van het ruime terras en het prachtig uitzicht.
Prettig verblijf goede uitvalsbasis genoten van onze vakantie

Zeer mooi huis met prachtig uit zicht op het dal van op het terras dat zuidgerichte is! Gelegen dicht bij de ravel. Wel min puntje over het gebruik van de TV, dit moest nl. vi telefoon verlopen wat wij niet konden vinden. We mochten de huisbaas hiervoor contacteren maar wilden hem hiervoor niet lastig vallen! Nog even één kleine tip:op de slaapkamer enkele kapstok jes aan de muur zou handing zijn!
Leuk huisje in een toffe omgeving. Heel vriendelijke gastheer !!!!
Leuk huisje met veel karakter. Positief: leuke eet- en zitkamer. Fijne haard. Mooie omgeving. Vlakbij de bossen rondom het circuit van Spa. Dichtbij Malmedy. Leuk schapenweiland met lammetjes naast het huisje. Waanzinnig uitzicht over de vallei. Wakker worden met vogeltjes. Negatief: Het huis heeft geen tuin. Het is een stenen terras, verhoogd. Wat grenst aan de tuin van de buurman (lief oud mannetje, geen last van). Niet veel ruimte om auto te parkeren voor het huis. Je hoort het circuit vaak.

charmant huisje heel authentiek, maar toch praktisch.
Alles in einem Raum, Wohn- und Esszimmer mit der Küche um die Ecke ist schön gemütlich. Der Kamin war sehr angenehm. Wir hatten einen netten Aufenthalt
Charmante maison de campagne. Pleine d'âme et joliment décorée. Accueil chaleureux du propriétaire. Nous nous sommes sentis "comme à la maison". Toute petite chose à améliorer : allumer le chauffage un peu en avance car la maison met 2-3 heures à chauffer.

Makkelijk te vinden woning met een goede ligging. De ontvangst was zeer hartelijk en we kregen een goede uitleg van de eigenaar. Een net huisje met alle benodigdheden. Wij hebben hier met twee en onze hond een uitstekend weekend beleefd.

The Abbey of Stavelot is a wonderful building just next to the river Amblève . Three museums are located inside the building. Besides the art expositions, you can also admire cool cars.

Rental of MTB for a half day or an entire day. Possibility to have a guide. Cycle on the signposted MTB trails and discover the must-see places of the area around Stavelot .
Malmedy is a mandatory stop when staying in the Belgian Ardennes. This city on the edge of the High Fens has a rich history and is home to many events the whole year round. Malmedy never sleeps!
