Now it is the ideal place for a cosy group holiday with friends or family. Is there no better way to start the day than with an extended breakfast? Take a walk down to the local bakery and get something delicious from the bakery, or crispy bread rolls for the table. Have you had a hard day walking or cycling? Light the fire so the atmosphere is right for an aperitif or games night. Do you want to hear our ultimate tip to get you into the holiday mood? A wonderful BBQ. Also possible during the autumn and winter months if you stay cosy in a thick sweater.
You will be staying in the land of Herve, known for its beautiful undulating landscape, and not far from the breathtaking High Fens. Our personal favourite? A hike on the Herve plateau with a stopover in the Val Dieu abbey in Aubel. The regional breakfast in the abbey is really lovely. Furthermore, the valley of the Gueule (with its unique geology) and the beautiful valley of the Hoëgne (a paradise for mountain bikers) is sure to charm you. You will also not be far from the lakes of La Gileppe and Warfaaz. All of these are beautiful pieces of nature to explore with your four-legged friend.

Belle maison de vacances, spacieuse et bien située. Nous étions 8 (4 adultes et 4 enfants) et nous n'avons manqué de rien (vaisselle en suffisance, grands frigo et congélateur ...).

Wij hebben een fijne vakantie gehad en genoten van de openhaard in het huisje. Wij waren met ons eigen gezinnetje, maar met andere stellen samen zou het niet veel privacy bieden ivm dat je door elkaars slaapkamer heen komt. En in de zomer zou de tuin wat klein zijn, maar dat is in de winter geen probleem. Bij ons zat de wc bril los en lekte er wat achter de wc pot. Ik zou adviseren om het gehele sanitair een opknapbeurt te geven. Ik vond het erg fijn dat er een wasmachine en droger was?

Très beau sejour passée entre amies. Propriétaires très sympa et pas compliqué du tout. La maison est bien situé. Possibilité de faires de belles balades sur le ravel et centre du village facilement accessible (3 Minutes à pied)
Gezellig en goed gelegen weekendhuis. Iets te weinig privacy voor 8 volwassenen en slechts 3 slaapkamers (wisten we wel vooraf). Een 2de WC zou comfortabeler zijn, maar ook dat wisten we vooraf. Al bij al zijn we er wel best tevreden over.
Prijs/kwaliteit meer dan ok. We hebben ontzettend genoten van de rust en de gezelligheid. Badkamer heeft nood aan opfrissing.
voldoende ruimte, zeer goed uitgeruste keuken, ruime bergplaats voor fietsen enz... zeer rustige ligging van het verblijf . Niettegenstaande het sanitair proper was, is het toch aan renovatie toe.
Gîte très complet, très bien équipé avec en plus les draps de lit compris et très bien situé en bordure de Ravel. Beau point de départ pour de nombreuses balades à pieds ou en vélo. De plus, la situation permet également de rayonner en Allemagne et au GD de Luxembourg. Petit plus : les jeux pour enfants dans me garage (table ping pong et air hockey). Propriétaire très sympathiques et disponibles. N'hésitez d'ailleurs pas à tester leur friterie au village.
Zeer goed gelegen voor wandel en fietstochten. Je kan starten aan het vakantiehuis.
Zeer goed ontvangen, heeft alles wat je nodig hebt. Heel goede uitvalsbasis. Gezellig dorpje. De douche kan wel een update gebruiken maar was wel in orde . Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.
Zeer mooie ligging, aan een ravel, mooie fietstochtjes in de omgeving, via de ravel. Badkamer en toilet zijn aan vernieuwing toe, gedateerd maar toch proper.
Zeer vriendelijke eigenaars. Prijs kwaliteit is correct.

Excellent house in an excellent location for walks, bikes and roller blading
We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in deze woning. Het was zeer schoon en enorm compleet. Hele fijne keuken met alle benodigdheden. Prima slaapkamers en bedden. Enkel de badkamer was in een mindere staat van onderhoud maar nog steeds heel schoon. Het enige minpunt vonden we dat er slechts 1 toilet was voor 7 personen. We komen vast nog eens terug.

zeer comfortabel huis , uitstekende ligging dicht bij het dorpje met cafés en restaurant, ligt direct aan een heel mooi wandelpad tot in Aaken...super...in de nabijheid hele mooie dorpjes en een rustige en mooie omgeving met veel natuur
Het vakantiehuis is goed gelegen (naast fietspad) e´ was zeer netjes. Pluspunt: bedden waren reeds opgemaakt bij aankomst. Grote slaapkamers en keuken. Badkamer is wel verouderd maar was geen hinder. Spijtig dat de verwarmingsketel niet goed afgesteld stond waardoor er lawaaihinder was tijdens de nacht.

Maison idéale pour un séjour en famille, bcp de chambres. Salle de bain à restaurer.
Super séjour, la maison est chaleureuse et pleine de charme! On y retournerait sans hésiter!
Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce gîte. Endroit calme et propre. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et le gîte très spacieux. Dommage que le coin salle de bain n'est pas un peu plus moderne. Nous y retournerons.

Prima vakantiehuis voor een familiegroep. Volledig uitgeruste keuken. Woning aangekleed in thema (Halloween) bij aankomst. Was een zeer aangenaam verblijf! Mogelijke minpunten: kleine tuin en 1 toilet.

Accueil cordial des propriétaires. Dommage que les 2 chambres du rez-de-chaussée ne sont pas séparées. Jardin un peu étroit et trop à l'ombre. Ceci étant dit, le gîte est propre, bien décoré, agréable et confortable.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli, les propriétaires sont à l'écoute et super gentils. L'endroit est très chouette, on sait faire beaucoup à pieds.

Fijn vakantiehuis van alle gemak voorzien. Hele goede bedden. Badkamer gedateerd, maar stoort niet. We komen nog terug, maar dan in de winterperiode omwille van de tuin.
