On the hills of Grand-Halleux in the Ardennes, there is a charming town near the river and woods. Here you can stay in this lovely 3 star cottage and enjoy the best of the province of Luxembourg.
While this holiday house is completely renovated, the owners wanted to keep its old spirit by using natural materials, such as clay, to dress the walls.
This self-catering accommodation features a fully equipped open kitchen, a dining room that can fit 8 people, and a living room with a wood-burning stove. On the two floors upstairs, there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms in total. On the second floor, there is a mezzanine with an additional seating area, which will come in handy when someone wants to relax in their own space.
Outside, there is a big private terrace that stretches all along the side of the house. From there, there are a few steps to access the common garden where you will find the children's play area.
In the same village, there are two restaurants that open only during weekends. However, the holiday cottage is just a few kilometres away from Devalkart; where you can race down the ski slopes on a go-kart. If you are travelling with younger children, stop by Puzzle Planet; where there are plenty of activities to delight the little ones.

The bedrooms are spread over 2 floors. Three of them are located on the first floor near the water rooms and the fourth one is located on the second floor.
The owner's small apartment is attached to the house; however, the terrace is completely private.

La maison est charmante, propre et bien située. Malheureusement, malgré le nombre de chambres, elle ne correspond pas à un groupe de 8 personnes (6 adultes et 2 enfants). Les photos laissent présager un séjour beaucoup plus grand que ce qu'il n'est en réalité. Peu d'insonorisation qui fait qu'on entend tout de chambre en chambre ou du séjour aux chambres. Les installations sont également limitées pour 8 personnes (un tout petit lave-vaisselle) et deux petits espaces sanitaires.

wij hebben een zeer aangename week gehad, heel gezellig, comfortabel huis, vloerverwarming, mooie materialen, binnen en buiten kunnen genieten, de omgeving is prachtig, heel veel kunnen wandelen en fietsen in de directe omgeving en de kleinkinderen vonden de schommel in de grote tuin geweldig!
Charmant,comfortabel huis. Is wel kleiner dan het er op de foto´s uitziet.graag wat meer bewegwijzerde wandelkaarten vertrekkende in de oniddellijke omgeving.zeer comfortabele matrassen ,mooie slaapkamers ..een aangenaam,warm huis dat met smaak is ingericht..max 6 pers..te klein voor 8 personen..
Uitstekende vakantiewoning. De leefruimte is wel aan aan de krappe kant voor 6 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Onderhoud en voorzieningenniveau is uitstekend. Moderne keuken van alle gemakken voorzien. Badkamers zijn erg klein maar wel luxe ingericht. Gezellige woning met authentiek karakter. Prima wandelmogelijkheden in de directe omgeving

The house is located in a very quiet place, walking distance from some fabulous walks so you do not need to drive anywhere to have a nice hike. It has everything you need to spend a great time in nature, away from the noise. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable, one of them is very small though but you can still have 2 people sleeping in it. The only (very small) issue is the lack of big cups for coffee and tea :-) Bring a big mug if you want to have a proper coffee for your breakfast!

Séjour vraiment agréable.
Leuk huis met een schitterende tuin. Fantastisch uitzicht en voor de kinderen erg leuk om in te spelen.

Een fijn huis (8 volw zou erg vol zijn), zeer compleet ingericht (alleen kommen voor bijv muesli ontbreken en de vaatwasser is een klein model - in een 8p huis). Fantastische tuin (tip: een trampoline zou het helemaal af maken). Schitterende omgeving voor fietsen, wandelen en uitstapjes.

Rue très paisible, avec une magnifique vue du jardin sur la vallée, à proximité de balades, d'activités diverses.
Heel fijne gîte! Heel mooi gerenoveerd en dito onderhouden. Werkelijk de ideale plek voor een of twee gezinnen met kinderen, want de tuin is een heus speelparadijs.
Tout était top ! Il manque un peu de vaisselle (grands bols, grandes tasses, …)

De woning is ideaal gelegen als uitvalbasis voor mooie wandelingen en fietstochten. Leuke speeltuin voor de kinderen. Boven in de tuin is een heerlijke plek om een boek te lezen of te genieten van het prachtig uitzicht.
Zeer rustig gelegen vakantiehuis van waaruit prachtige wandelingen kunnen starten. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. Nette woning waarin we ons onmiddellijk thuis voelden. Geen last van de eigenaar die onder dezelfde kap woont.
Un séjour agréable dans un gîte tout confort situés dans une endroit exceptionnel. L'accueil est très agréable et convivial. Un endroit à recommander sans hésitations.
Excellent WE ! Nous avons été bien accueillis ! Le gîte est superbe et très confortable, dans un joli village, proche de la nature et des chemins de balade.

Très bien accueilli par le propriétaire qui prend le temps de tout expliquer. Disponible en cas de problème. Gîte très propre et très bien décoré. Equipement parfait. Environnement magnifique et départ de belles balades dans les environs. Situé au calme et avec tout le confort nécessaire.

Accueil très agréable effectué par le propriétaire. La maison est d’une propreté irréprochable, les sanitaires impeccables. Dans l’ensemble, le gîte a dépassé nos attentes et la description de l’annonce! Le jardin est merveilleux et la vue imprenable! Nous y retournerons volontiers!

Très jolie maison, bien entretenue. Juste une remarque sur le fait que le jardin n'est pas privatif et est à partager avec les propriétaires qui vivent à côté, pas de rideaux partout dans le living qui donne sur le jardin. un lit de deux personnes avec un grand matelas serait mieux il me semble que deux matelas sur les lits de deux personnes. Sinon les hôtes sont charmants, avenants et précautionneux de leur bien de qualité

Maison idéalement située au bout d'une rue cul-de-sac, très peu de trafic. Départ direct vers de nombreuses balades. Très belle rénovation et aménagement, très bien équipé. Petites barrières de sécurité en haut et en bas de l'escalier pour les jeunes enfants. Chaise haute Trip-trap. Bois non fourni. Propriétaires très accueillants et discrets. On entend juste leur télévision dans une des chambre le soir. Vue superbe depuis le jardin. Parfait pour les familles avec enfants.

Fantastische woning met een schitterend stuk grond er om heen met een prachtig uitzicht op de heuvels en weilanden. Woning was zeer netjes en schoon. Bedden waren redelijk en kussens matig. In de tuin heerlijke speelmogelijkheden voor de kids, ook een voetbalveld aanwezig met doeltjes. Communicatie met de eigenaar was erg lastig doordat de eigenaar geen Engels sprak en wij maar matig Frans.

Zoals eerdere reviews te lezen persoon 2 the point. Opgelet! - is 2 onder 1 dak, dit boeken wij nooit meer bij Ardenne-etappe. Het was inderdaad vermeld maat eigenaars gebruiken gemeenschappelijke garage en tuin maw kan er plots een persoon in de garage staan of iemand passeren voorbij het raam als ze naar hun groententuin lopen. Er was op zondag ook een prive feest waardoor we die dag geen rust hadden en er 7 kinderen de tuin innamen in tijde corona!
