Experience a relaxing holiday in this former distillery (four bedrooms, three bathrooms) with a sauna in Bihain near the forest, river, and RAVeL cycling trails!

If you want a lively cycling holiday, you have come to the right place! There is a separate bicycle shed for eight bicycles here. Biking in the hilly landscapes? Enjoy the inviting ambience of this holiday home with a cosy wood-burning stove or relax your muscles in the sauna. And when the sun shines, you can enjoy a well-earned aperitif in the beautiful garden with a patio and pétanque court. Be sure to make time for a cosy brunch in the morning. Crispy pistolet rolls and warm croissants? The local bakery is only 5 kilometers away!

Enjoy the prime location within walking distance of the forest, river, and RAVeL cycling trails. Perfect for your daily dose of vitamin D! Out and about with kids? Then a walk around the ‘Lac des Doyards’ Lake (Vielsalm) is highly recommended. Even little ones in a pram can enjoy this. Unsurprisingly, it’s a favourite of Ardennes-Etape parents. One of our absolute favourite places in the Ardennes is also close to this holiday home: the Plateau des Tailles near Baraque Fraiture. This is undoubtedly one of the most rugged places in Belgium!

This cosy holiday home lets you enjoy a charming piece of the Belgian Ardennes in every season!

Group holiday among friends Weekend February 2023

Group holiday among friends Weekend November 2022

Keuken is wat klein voor 8 volwassenen. WiFi werkt niet overal in het huis, maar voor de rest is dit huis echt een toppertje en ideaal om te genieten van een weekendje Ardennen.

Family holiday with adolescents Weekend September 2022

Helaas gaf de site niet aan dat de sauna geen echte sauna was. Verder waren we in alle opzichten super tevreden.

Niveau 1 As quiet as it gets
Absolute peace and quiet, house is located on the countryside, in the middle of nature, in a small hamlet, in a calm dead-end street,…
Niveau 2 Very calm
The house is located in a small village, you might hear sounds typical to the countryside, or some children playing outside,…
Niveau 3 Limited
You will find yourself in a village centre, next to a road without constant traffic, you might hear the neighbours or farmers in the area,…
Niveau 4 Average noise level
A busy road passes next to the house, traffic sound is ubiquitous.
Niveau 5 High noise level
The house is located in the city centre, right next to a busy national road or close to the highway, at a crossroads, traffic sound is constant.

The Ardennes was also a strategic region during the two world wars. This past is nowadays valorised in museums and other marked-out walks."
