The first part of this holiday accommodation for 13 - 15 people is a house dating from 1680, which was completely renovated in the 1980s. Featuring a very modern architectural design for that time, it is still pleasing today.
The front façade of the house has kept this its farm charm but once you enter, you will be amazed by the interior and its modern architectural design. The entrance hall gives access to the various rooms on the ground floor: a reading corner full of books and a TV, a large and spacious well-equipped kitchen, a dining area space with a wood-burning stove and a small sitting area where you can relax in, and a play area for your little ones.
Two stairwells, one dating back from the year of the house’s construction and the other dating from the house's renovation, will lead you upstairs where you can find four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a second sitting area with a desk. All rooms are equipped with good bedding and are arranged according to the style of the house.
One floor above, there is another spacious bedroom with a shower and a private washbasin.
In total, this first part has five bedrooms and three bathrooms.
The second part is a small stone house nearby, located 100 meters away and accessible from the garden. Behind its typical facade of this region, hides a beautiful bright living area with a certain degree of privacy.
The entrance from the street is at level -1. On this floor, there is a bedroom, a separate toilet, and a wellness area with a spacious sauna.
Upstairs, you will find the living room, which is certainly one of the best assets of this house; because it is spacious, bright, very well decorated, and the stunning view on the terrace. The sofa turns into a sofa bed and, do not worry, there are electric blinds on the windows.
The tour continues on to the well-equipped kitchen, then to the bathroom and finally ends with the second bedroom. In total then, this cottage has two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The terrace invites you to relax and allows you to feel alone in the world. When there is good weather this is the ideal place to enjoy the outdoors.
Another great asset of this beautiful rental are the outdoor amenities. Indeed, the large green area, which is entirely private, has multiple corners waiting to be discovered. First of all, there is a beautiful terrace to spend pleasant moments in; then, there is a splendid seasonal outdoor swimming pool. het was heel mooi en rustgevend. heel mooie tuin waar de kinderen konden spelen en genieten van zwembed
Zeer leuk huis met voldoende ruimte binnen als buiten! De keuken is ook zeer leuk om met een grote groep te koken!
Zeer aangenaa verblijf
Prima verblijf en prettig ontvangst. Veel rekening gehouden met het verblijf met kinderen. Tweede woning bevind zich wel wat verder weg dan wij hadden verwacht en wifi verbinding was wat slechter waardoor er geen bereik was met babyfoon.
Een zeer mooi vakantiehuis met ruime tuin(en) en sauna's. Het huis is erg groot en prettig vertoeven met een grote groep. Het extra huis was erg prettig met het oog op een zwanger echtpaar dat wij mee hadden. Jammer dat het zwembad niet vóór juni te gebruiken is, met het warme weer hadden we daar graag gebruik van gemaakt. Voor de grootte van het huis was het aantal douches en aparte toiletten wel wat aan de lage kant. Verder een prachtig weekend gehad in een geweldig huis!
