Located in a former holiday village, this charming house has been completely renovated and transformed into a lovely cottage to offer you an excellent stay in the Ardennes.
Indeed, the owners of the place bought this bungalow to transform it into a modern holiday home with all the necessary comfort. The advantage is that everything is on the ground floor, and there are no steps.
The house has a well-equipped kitchen, which offers a view on the terrace and the private garden as well as on the lake below when the view is clear. The comfortable sitting area will make everyone feel right at home. In total, there are two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The lake is accessible from the bottom of the garden or by the road that leads to the house. In summer, there are many activities on offer, such as pedal boats and kayak rentals. The area is also ideal for mountain biking and for hiking on the many marked trails in the forest.
In Virton, you can do all the shopping you need as well as finding places to eat. Also, you can visit Torgny, one of the most beautiful villages of Wallonia, and its many restaurants.
Known in the region, the Abbey of Orval is a must-visit site, as is Bouillon, which is not so far from there.
Also, remember that France is nearby. In particular, you can visit Sedan and its Castle dating from the Middle Ages.
For a couple or with your family, this holiday house and this area offer the perfect mix for a successful stay in the Ardennes in the beautiful region of Virton.

Leuk huisje. Goede ontvangst. In de keuken waren er een paar dingen die wij misten. Bv een hapjes pan, en opscgeplepels, en een vleesmes.

Mooi vakantiehuis, alles is voldoende aanwezig om zelf te koken. Verwarming met pelletkachel is gemakkelijk te bedienen en zorgt voor een aangename warmte. Badkamer met ruime douche en rustige omgeving, ideaal om te wandelen of fietsen. Zeer tevreden over ons verblijf.

Mooie vakantiewoning die goed gelegen is. Alles is voorzien voor een aangenaam verblijf. Mooie omgeving van waaruit men tal van dingen kan doen.
Goed gelegen huisje in de buurt van Virton, makkelijk bereikbaar, dichtbij Virton voor inkopen & bakker. Ideaal vertrekpunt voor wandelingen in de prachtige bosrijke omgeving. Alles is voorzien in het huisje. De kachel brandde toen we toekwamen. Jammer dat we de eigenaars niet gezien hebben.

Agréable séjour
Huis is ideaal gelegen tussen de bomen, wat binnen voor aangename temperaturen zorgde. We deden leuke uitstapjes en wandelingen in de buurt. Een aanrader.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst in dit goed uitgerust vakantiehuis. Een kinderbedje en -stoel zijn ook aanwezig. Leuk tuintje om te genieten van de zon en de fluitende vogels. In de nabije omgeving zijn ook leuke, korte wandelingen te vinden om met kleine kinderen te doen.
Mooie woning in een prachtige omgeving, heel goeie ontvangst en alles voorhanden. Het was een heel aangenaam verblijf!

Heel gezellig huis, fijn om in zo een warm huis aan te komen na een spannende rit in de sneeuw! En opgemaakte bedden dus meteenontspannen! De pelletkachel en de mooie inrichting maakt het extra knus. Er stond zelf een kerstboom! Voor onze verwachtingen was dit een aanrader!

Een heel gezellig huis, met alle moderne comfort op een zeer rustige locatie. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor vele wandelingen.

très bon séjour malgré un temps pourri mais le lieu enchanteur efface tout.
Een heel gezellig, comfortabel huis met een prachtige tuin!
Tout était très bien, mais le logement est très difficile à trouver. Le GPS nous a emmenés au clos des Horlès. Il faudrait peut-être signaler que la rue pour atteindre le gite est située juste en face du lac du Rabais et que la maison se trouve tout au fond d'un cul-de-sac. Pour les voyageurs qui aiment le calme et la nature. Les commerces se trouvent à 3 km.
