From October 10 to January 10, 2026, the exhibition invites you on a unique journey through the history of American animation — from the very first cartoons, even before the invention of cinema, to the golden age of the legendary studios: Disney, Warner Bros, Metro Goldwyn Mayer…

The exhibition features a rich collection of original drawings and celluloids signed by the greatest masters of animation, from Mickey to Tex Avery, and the hilarious Tom and Jerry, Pink Panther, and Bugs Bunny.

But that’s not all: for the first time in Belgium, original superhero drawings from private collections will be presented in Chaudfontaine. Superman, Batman, Captain America, the Avengers, and the Incredible Hulk will be there, tracing the evolution of comics from the 1930s to their current status as global icons of the big and small screen.

A fun and heritage-rich exhibition that will enchant both young and old, offering a (re)discovery of the iconic characters who shaped the history of animation and comic art.
