Description

In the heart of the Ardennes forest, an imposing grey stone tower dominates the village of Herbeumont. These are the ruins of a medieval castle, set 110 metres atop a rocky outcrop majestically overlooking the Semois. At a time when battles were raging, its reputedly impregnable position on top of a steep mountain gave it great strategic importance.

Today, amidst the silence of the night and a ghostly atmosphere full of mystery, Marie-Laure and Michel, your two enthusiastic guides dressed in period costume, will guide you around the castle by torchlight, telling you all about its glorious past, as well as the exploits of its fearless knights.

As an Ardennes-étape customer, you get a discount of 1 Euro per ticket purchased (i.e. approx. 12% off).
