The former monastery in the town of Malmedy, situated next to the majestic cathedral, has today been renamed the ‘Malmundarium’. This cultural and tourist centre is one of the town’s major attractions.
The building comprises two levels and an inner courtyard covering an area of 3,000 m2 of history and discovery.
The treasures of Malmedy cathedral, as well as the history of the town’s folklore with its carnival workshop and old industries will all be revealed.
All year round, must-see temporary exhibitions are organised.
