Description

A stay in the village of Rochehaut offers much more than just green nature. This enchanting place is known for its spectacular view over the Semois Valley. But it also offers two unique attractions that fully immerse you in the nature and culture of the region.

The Animal Park: embark on a journey of discovery through the Ardennes fauna

Board a 100% electric train for an unforgettable adventure through 40 hectares of fields and forests. During this journey, you can spot more than 40 animal species from the Ardennes and Europe in their natural environment. The animals live in semi-freedom in an environment carefully designed for their well-being.

The park mainly houses animals typically found on farms, meadows, and forests of the Ardennes, offering an authentic insight into the local fauna. A few exotic species complete this varied collection. These were specially chosen for their ability to adapt to the region's climate. Each year, the park is delighted to welcome new births, touching moments that it shares with visitors and on social networks.

The Agri-Museum: discover the rural heritage

After your Ardennes safari, immerse yourself in the agricultural history of the region by visiting the Agri-Museum. This unique space takes you back to the early 20th century in 20 carefully arranged rooms. This attraction is much more than just an agricultural museum: it highlights all the traditional crafts of the Ardennes villages.

The Agri-Museum houses an exceptional collection of authentic agricultural tools and machines and is known as one of the most impressive in Europe. Ingenious animations innovatively highlight the operation of various old agricultural machines. Expect an immersive, interactive experience!

These two complementary attractions make your visit to Rochehaut an authentic experience combining Ardennes nature with agricultural heritage. A day in Rochehaut treats the whole family to discoveries, emotions, and unforgettable memories.
