This former hotel has recently been transformed into a holiday home and is a delight for families wishing to get together in a relaxing setting in the heart of the Ardennes.
Up to 24 people will be able to get together in this large capacity house, which offers an excellent level of comfort combined with the charms of the Ardennes countryside. Thanks to its location on the heights of Barvaux, you will enjoy a superb view. The garden is a place to relax for the adults and an ideal playground for children. Plus, you will be able to gather the whole family on the terrace for a barbecue in the evening as soon as the fine weather arrives. Younger guests will definitely enjoy this cottage, with its two games rooms, which include table football and a pool table. As a former hotel, the house features a large dining room and a professional kitchen to prepare some memorable meals. The living area is very cosy and has a modern decor that gives it a nice effect. Finally, note that everything has been designed for your comfort and that the house is particularly functional, with 10 bedrooms, each equipped with its own private bathroom.

Pets not allowed
Nous étions 20 avec 4 petits enfants et tout le monde était très content après ce beau we famille. À part quelques petits détails, on pourrait envisager de revenir une année en famille où entre amis.
Wij gaan al 40 jaar met ons gezin en verdere familie in dec. een lang weekend weg. Op enkele kleine minpuntjes na, beviel dit huis ons goed. Maar waarschijnlijk zoeken we voor het volgende jaar weer een ander huis waar we met onze groep van 18 personen een fijne tijd door hopen te brengen.
Alles aanwezig om een leuk verblijf te hebben met een grote groep familie en vrienden! Goeie startbasis voor mooie wandelingen langs de Ourthe. ? Enkele verbeterpunten in de woning om het nog aangenamer te maken: zorgen dat alle gasvuren in de keuken werken, vervelend geurtje in de gemeenschappelijke toiletten wegwerken.
Het huis is verouderd en heeft een grondige opknapbeurt nodig. Wat vonden wij wel positief: - De ruimte beneden (eet- & zitgedeelte, incl voetbal- en biljarttafel). De salon is aan vervanging toe. - De keuken is voorzien van een professioneel kookfornuis (gas), 2 vaatwasmachines, voldoende koelruimte
Nous étions 22 amis et nous avons passé un super we. Maison très agréable à l’intérieur avec des grands espaces et le bar. Chambres confortables même si certaines sdb meriteraient d’être restaurées. Très bonne situation, nous avons fait de superbes ballades. Les -: une terrasse très bruyante à l’avant avec pas assez de tables et il manque de vaisselle et de verre.
Ruim huis en tuin. Zeer geschikt voor grote groepen, ook met kinderen. Voor wie graag buiten zit/eet/apéro's doet is het wel even wennen dat het terras aan de straatkant ligt, maar daar ben je snel aan gewend. Grote keuken met veel handige koeling. Enige "aandachtspuntje": net iets meer bestek, glazen en kommen zou zeer praktisch zijn, vooral als je met een grote groep bent. Verder alles voorhanden voor een zeer aangenaam verblijf.
Super aangenaam verblijf. Ideaal voor een grote groep. Veel ruimte in de eetzaal en salon alsook veel ruimte in tuin & parking. Goed uitgeruste keuken & heel veel "koelcapaciteit" in keuken en bar. Enige "minpunt" => Maar net voldoende bestek beschikbaar
Parfaite pour un grand groupe (nous étions 23 adultes), avec une cuisine bien équipée et un bar parfaitement agencé. Nombreuses activités aux alentours .
Is gereed voor een kleine renovatie
Het huis is goed maar heeft wat verbeterpunten. In de keuken is er te weinig bestek aanwezig; er waren geen messen die goed snijden en er mogen meer schaaltjes zijn om slaatjes en dergelijke in op te dienen. Het gerief voor de bar zou ook beter in de bar staan ipv in het salon. De kamers zijn goed maar zeer verschillend. In de badkamers kan je niet goed douchen : er is een douchestang, maar die kan je niet ophangen tegen de muur.
De vorming van de groep waarmee ik op vakantie was, gaf dat de vakantie goed bevallen was. De staat van de woning viel tegen. De keuken daarintegen, die is echt geweldig! Dat was helemaal mijn ding. De service was ook geweldig!
Super séjour, un peu difficile de trouver les accès pour les lumières mais nous avons passé un très beau week-end !
Super verblijf! Ruime kamers, gezellige gemeenschappelijke ruimte
Een heerlijk voormalig hotel met uitstekende bedden. Je hebt weinig last van elkaar omdat alles goed is geïsoleerd. De minpuntjes zitten hem in de onderhoud van de woning. Het huis heeft een opknapbeurt nodig. Tapijt is versleten, de nodige verf is niet top. Het is allemaal niet top afgewerkt. We hadden ook last van een lekkage, maar die werd snel en professioneel opgelost.

Avis mitigé, nous trouvons le prix trop élevé. Un rafraîchissement est plus que nécessaire
Prima verblijf voor grote groepen met kinderen. Jammer dat het terras en een deel van het speeltuig niet bruikbaar is.
Aucune critique, la description correspond à la réalité. Très chouette week-end familial pour un grand groupe. Chaque chambre a sa salle de bain. Cuisine pratique. Juste qq détails, pas de couteaux à pain, les conduites d’eau sont bruyantes dans les chambres, impossible d’allumer les frigos arrière du bar.
samengevat: toe aan een goede schoonmaak beurt in gehele huis en voor terras en speeltoestel een onderhoudsbeut zodat men op het terras kan geniten van de tuin en spelende kinderen op het speeltoestel. Als dit geregeld is, is het een leuk vakantieverblijf, aan te bevelen bij vrienden en familie.
Beau WE passé dans cette superbe endroit La maison est déjà bien située dans le village de Barvaux proche de toutes les commodités nécéssaires. La location est facile à trouver, les indications concernant le séjour très claires et données en temps et en heure. Les installations dans la maison sont bien pensées pour un grand groupe de personnes. Seul bémol : les chambres n'ont pas de verrou. Mais pas d'autre problème à signaler.

Eenvoudig ogend vakantiehuis met een leuke, grote zithoek. Eetgedeelte met ‘handig’ buffet en gebruiksvriendelijke keuken. Eenvoudige kamers met elk een eigen badkamer + WC ( enkel kamer 1 is zonder WC). Nodige winkels in de buurt. Groot buitenterras met speel- en spelmogelijkheden (= zijn ook binnen aanwezig). Ruime parkeermogelijkheid. (Wel jammer dat er maar beddengoed voorzien was / opgemaakt was voor 22 personen, terwijl we 23 hadden doorgegeven…)
Zeer keurig en geriefelijk huisje voor een groep van meerdere gezinnen. Hier en daar is er misschien wat ruimte voor renovatie, maar dat heeft de pret zeker niet bederfd. Overal zeer proper en in orde. We waren zeer tevreden.
