Libramont is mostly known for its agricultural market that attracts thousands and thousands of visitors every year. But Libramont is also a cosy little village in the heart of the Belgian Ardennes in the province of Luxembourg. A holiday cottage in Libramont is the perfect point to start exploring the region. Bastogne , Bouillon and Rochefort , three charming Ardennes cities are located at just around half an hour's drive from Libramont.

Neufchâteau is the capital of the province of Luxembourg and has a lot to offer its visitors. The charming city centre is definitely worth a visit. There is the palace of justice which is really exceptional. Many signposted hikes take off in the city centre. Bastogne and Bouillon , two great little cities in the Belgian Ardennes, are located just a few kilometres from Neafchâteau.

Bertrix is a little place in the province of Luxembourg, just a few kilometres from Bouillon in the Belgian Ardennes . It is surrounded by the beautiful forests of the south of Belgium, close to the French border. This makes it the perfect spot for adventurous sports, extensive hikes and just enjoying the scenery. Furthermore, Bertrix is just 45 minutes away from Rochefort , another delightful Ardennes city.

Ardennes-Etape suggests:

Go and discover Bouillon and its environment by horse . Whether if you opt for taking the horse carriage or getting on a horse yourself, your nature walk will definitely be extremely relaxing.

Getting on the back of a donkey (freely or accompanied) will definitely take your walk to a new level, especially for the kids. The donkey is not only a true hiking companion but also a carrier of dreams and luggage.

This old Ardennes farm was built around 1850 and renovated at the end of the 20th century. Delicious Ardennes ham from the 'sanglochon' (a hybrid between a wild boar and a normal pig) is being produced on the domain. Salted, smoked or dried... In the restaurant there is, of course, special emphasis put on locally produced foods.

The Plan d'Eau in Libramont is something between a pool and a lake. The biggest advantage is the free entrance. It is a great place to cool down on a hot summer day.

Dans le bas de la ville, un agréable et grand lac permet toutes sortes d'activités : promenade, pêche, kayak, pédalo,... De l'autre côté vous trouverez minigolf, plaine de jeux, terrains de tennis et beach volley, barbecue et cafétéria, sanitaire et parking.

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst en comfortabel huisje waarin alles aanwezig was wat we nodig hadden. Leuke en vaak adembenemende omgeving. De wandeling die we in Neufchâteau gedaan hebben, is 100% een aanrader. Ook fans van geocachen komen zeker aan hun trekken in deze omgeving. Een aanrader voor iedereen!

Een zeer goed ingericht huis met een mooie ligging. De steden Bastonge, Libramont, La Roche en Ardennen en Bouillon zijn vanaf hier heel goed te bereiken.

Alles van elektrische apparaten waren aanwezig in de keuken. Enkel de oven en de BBQ waren niet mooi gekuist. De roosters waren nog vuil en de houtskolen lagen er ook nog in. De badkamer was in orde! Mooie ruime douche met plaats voor zeepjes. Opbergplaats voor handdoeken en alles wat je nodig hebt in de badkamer. Slaapkamer goed bed, veel...

Alles van elektrische apparaten waren aanwezig in de keuken. Enkel de oven en de BBQ waren niet mooi gekuist. De roosters waren nog vuil en de houtskolen lagen er ook nog in. De badkamer was in orde! Mooie ruime douche met plaats voor zeepjes. Opbergplaats voor handdoeken en alles wat je nodig hebt in de badkamer. Slaapkamer goed bed, veel opbergruimte. Een zeer goed pluspunt is dat het er altijd lekker fris is om te slapen. Living is perfect uitgerust.
