Beautiful 3-star holiday home for four guests in Plombières in the province of Liège. The holiday home is full-equipped and ideal for a weekend or midweek stay to explore the Belgian Ardennes and the surrounding areas.
This holiday home has two bedrooms with warm decor and lovely wooden beds, and private bathrooms, each with a shower and washbasin. There is a living room on the ground floor with a cable TV, a DVD player, and a lounge area. The compact kitchen has a four-burner electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer combo, and dishwasher. This room leads onto the communal garden with a patio, BBQ grill, and garden furniture.
During your stay on the farm, your children can have fun with the goats, chickens, and other animals. They will also be delighted by the play equipment in the garden, such as swings, a trampoline, and a sandbox. You may prefer to have a family pétanque match on the court provided for this purpose.
The holiday home is in a verdant setting near the forest, a lovely lake, and a river. You’ll find shops and restaurants in the neighbouring villages of Plombières and Sippenaeken. The tourist office and bus stop are also nearby. Approximately 20 minutes’ drive away, you can visit the Three Borders point in Vaals as well as the High Fens Nature Reserve, which is heaven for hikers.
In the heart of the Pays de Herve, in a landscape filled with orchards and meadows, lies Aubel. Besides its wonderful nature, the village also has a very interesting heritage (farms, old and luxurious houses, etc.). There are many activities on offer in the region: golf or farmer’s golf for more athletic types, shopping in Verviers for those who love more hustle and bustle, or long hikes in the beautiful Pays de Herve.
Explore the stunning countryside on a Vespa or rent a Segway and take in the Ardennes on an original form of transport. Looking for thrills? Go karting at Karting Eupen, with its brand-new circuit and the largest indoor track in the world.
Do you love chocolate? If so, you must visit Chocolaterie Jaques. This authentic chocolate shop has been in existence for over a century and offers a guided tour of its chocolate museum. You will then, of course, get to sample the product, which is bliss for the taste buds!

Very good choice to spend the weekend during summer with your family. The landscape it's very beautiful.
Donkere maar verder nette vakantiewoning met donker plaatsje buiten. Woning was met een goed uitgeruste keuken en eenvoudig maar goed ingericht. Twee badkamers zonder toilet dus gemeenschappelijk toilet op de gang.Goed geisoleerd dus ondanks luidruchtige buren weinig geluidsoverlast
Super séjour adapté aux enfants
Leuk vakantiehuis, aardige mensen. Maar de meeste dieren die op hun boerderij leven hebben het volgens mij slecht. De stal waar de koeien in staan is ronduit smerig, er is geen vers drinkwater en de koeien zitten onder de modder.Ook het hok waar kippen,konijnen, pauwen en duiven zitten is al heel lang niet onderhouden.Er staat ook een paard die een heel dik ontstoken oog heeft en die wordt ook niet geholpen zo te zien. Dit aankaarten en mij op de hoogte houden anders bel ik dierenbescherming
Antwoord van de eigenaar: We betreuren het dat de gasten dit onderwerp niet bij ons hebben aangekaart tijdens hun verblijf. Wij hadden bijvoorbeeld kunnen uitleggen dat de bestemming van het paard het slachthuis was en dat wij hem hebben opgevangen. Hij heeft een probleem met één oog en is behandeld door de dierenarts. Helaas is zijn ziekte ongeneeslijk. We hadden de keuze om hem te euthanaseren of te laten leven. We kozen voor de tweede oplossing en wilden hem houden zolang hij niet zou lijden of vermageren. Onze boerderij wordt regelmatig geïnspecteerd door verschillende organisaties en we staan goed aangeschreven.
