This old local-stone farmhouse in the Ardennes hosts a large apartment with modern comfort. Laid out on 3 levels, it is wide enough to insure pleasant holiday moments all day long: the dining-room is slightly raised above the sitting-room in order to offer a pleasant eating area. Another sitting-room lies upstairs in order to create another calm and relaxing area. Both bedrooms upstairs are wide and clear. The third bedroom lies at the top level for more privacy and tranquility. Outside, you will find a 170m² shared garden with barbecue where you can have breakfast if you want to.

Stoumont is an uneven municipality – its altitude stretches from 150 to 550 meters – offering various landscapes and panoramas. It is also a “water town” since it hosts numerous sources of naturally fizzy mineral water at the place called Bru. The region offers many leisure and discovery activities, ranging from farmer golf to donkey rides and interesting caves. A few kilometers away from Stoumont lies the town of Coo, famous for its waterfall and amusement park. The former is the highest in Belgium with its 15 meters and stands in the heart of a wooded valley. The latter, Plopsa Coo, is an amusement park for all ages.

Family holiday with young kids Week August 2025

Redelijk wat dingen in het huisje zijn verouderd en toe aan vervanging. Denk aan het bankstel en stoelen, maar ook de wasbak in de keuken is erg onhygiënisch. Verder is het ontzettend gehorig, niet prettig met slecht slapende kinderen, dus dit is echt wel iets om rekening mee te houden. Wij troffen ook een aantal dagen buren die aardig luidruchtig waren. Verder vonden wij het erg vreemd dat de eigenaresse zich niet heeft laten zien tijdens ons verblijf. Huis was verder netjes en fijne locatie

"Antwoord van de eigenaar" Bedankt voor uw opmerkingen. We weten dat het meubilair niet nieuw is, maar het is nog steeds comfortabel en goed onderhouden, en bepaalde onderdelen worden indien nodig vervangen. De oude porseleinen gootsteen wordt altijd zorgvuldig schoongemaakt. De aangrenzende gîte biedt een gezellige omgeving waar respect voor elkaar rust garandeert, en ik ben altijd telefonisch bereikbaar om onze gasten te begeleiden en hun verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken.

Nous étions dans le gîte pour un séjour professionnel donc très peut présent dans le gîte. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil.

Maison avec de grand espaces intérieurs. Chambre assez grande avec des lits très confortables. Boulangerie très bonne et très bien fournie à proximité. Seul bémol, le jardin est un peu petit , mais largement suffisant pour faire et manger un BQ.

Vakantiehuis is prima, alles is aanwezig. Interieur gedateerd maar voldoet prima. Goeie ligging om naar La Gleize te gaan waar verschillende MTB tracks beginnen.
