Pleasant and charming 4 stars holiday home in Theux in the Belgian Ardennes, very well suited for large groups and just a few kilometres away from Spa, Malmedy and Nivezé.
This fine small farmhouse renovated in 2014 lies in Theux in the province of Liège. The holiday cottage offers enough space for 14 persons and will be the perfect choice for a family or friends gathering. The building counts 5 large bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 of which with a bath and a very comfortable living and dining room with a wood stove and television. The modern fully-equipped kitchen with its trendy bar has among other things an oven, a dishwasher and a micro-wave oven. But this holiday house owes its charming character to the roof vaults, the wooden beams and the preserved stone walls. This accommodation is also appropriate for the whole family: the young will have fun with the Playstation or with the table football in the play corner while you will enjoy the infrared cabin. In the summer days you will be able to laze on deck chairs next to a pond (extra attention to the children will be necessary there) or on the terrace or even in the covered Jacuzzi. And in the evening why not play a petanque game with the family while the youngest ones will play on the slide and trampoline.
You will find in Theux a couple of interesting buildings from the 17th and 18th centuries. The impressive town hall and the casino and its Francofolies, a 5-day long music festival that attracts thousands of people every year. The holiday house is also close to 2 must go's : Malmedy and Durbuy, respectively 20 minutes and 50 minutes away. If you would rather relax the Lake of Warfaaz is a nice place near Nivezé. Pedalos are at your disposal there and you may even fish in the lake.

Attention: there is a pond in the garden. Adults should pay extra attention to children when they play there.

We komen al 2 jaar en gaan zeker blijven komen. Tot binnenkort jaar ;)
Uitje met 8volwassen, 1baby, 1peuter en 2 kinderen. De woning was ruim en netjes verzorgd. De jacuzzi en de infraroodsauna waren een leuk extraatje in ons regenachtig weekendje. Wij raden dit verblijf zeker aan. En wie weet komen we nog eens terug .
