Description

Thirimont is a quiet little place in Waimes, at the edge of the High Fens in the Belgian East Cantons. The village offers – at an altitude of around 500 metres – a great view over the valley of the river Amblève. It is the perfect location for a hike through the Ardennes. By car you need only 15 minutes to get to Malmedy, one of the most beautiful cities in the Belgian Ardennes. St. Vith is less than half an hour away.

The area is quiet and perfect for relaxing holidays.  Ideally nestled between Waimes and Malmedy, near the motorway but retaining a rural tranquility, Thirimont benefits from an exceptional situation. Be sure to visit the Musée de Baugnez 44 in Malmedy; it is worth the detour!
